Operating device
An operating device comprises a base member and an operating member. The base member is configured to be mounted to one of a dropdown portion and a bar end portion of a handlebar. The base member includes a cylinder bore and a reservoir bore. The cylinder bore has a cylinder center axis. The reservoir bore has a reservoir center axis. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The cylinder center axis is offset from the reservoir center axis in a pivot axis direction parallel to the pivot axis and in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to both the pivot axis and the cylinder center axis.
BICYCLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A bicycle control system may be provided to control a first gear changer with a control unit and a second gear changer with the first gear changer. The control unit may control both first and second gear changers. The system includes a predetermined shift path and may transition in and out of the predetermined shift path responsive to various controls. Shifts out of the predetermined shift path may be recovery shifts where both first and second gear changers are controlled.
TRI-POWER EXERCISING DEVICE
Tri-Power Exercising device allows a rider to simultaneously, or on demand, exercise virtually all muscle groups in his lower and upper body. The device includes a bicycle frame, pedals, forearm bars, sliding seat, computer and electronic display recommending energy modulation amounts from various muscle groups to optimize physical performance on any given trek. Because riders can exercise virtually all muscle groups at once, they reduce their exercising time, continuously builds muscle tissue throughout their whole body, and exercises their cardiovascular and respiratory systems completely. Riders operate the device by rotating legs on the pedals, rotationally oscillating the forearm bars up and down with their arms and shoulders, and then use core muscles to pull and push the seat back and forth on the slider. Inverted racks, pinion gears, and one-way bearings turn this linear power from the oscillating forearm bars and sliding seat into torque that rotates the crank axle.
BICYCLE HANDLEBAR FOR RECUMBENT CYCLING
A handlebar assembly is able to attach to a bicycle. The handlebar assembly provides a higher grasping point for a bicycle operator than the original handlebar, enabling the operator to lean back and assume a recumbent posture while riding. The handlebar assembly includes and attachment member, a handlebar member, and an extension vertically separating the two components. The attachment-member is able to affix about the existing tubular handlebar of the bicycle by means of a clamp.
Folding scooter frame
A folding scooter frame (100) includes a front frame (1), a rear frame (2), a linkage rod (3) and a seat support frame (4). The front frame (1) and the rear frame (2) are pivotally connected. A front end of the linkage rod (3) is connected with the front frame (1), and a rear end of the linkage rod (3) is pivotally connected with a slider (5). A support rod of the seat support frame (4) is pivotally connected with the slider (5), the slider (5) is slidably provided on the rear frame (2). The linkage rod (3) is able to swing as the front vehicle frame (1) is folded and thus drives the slider (5) to slide so as to make the slider (5) drive the seat support frame (4) to fold. The folding scooter frame (100) has the advantages of quick and convenient folding operations.
BICYCLE DUAL POWER TURNING TRACK, RACK, PINION, AND ONE-WAY BEARING PROPULSION SYSTEM
A dual powered propulsion system for use with a human powered vehicle is provided. The system includes a connecting rod with a front end operatively coupled to yoke-connected forearm bars. The system also includes a splitter coupled to a rear end of the connecting rod, wherein the splitter is coupled to a first rack and a second rack that operate with a first and second pinion gear to turn a crank axle. This system supplies rotational power to the crank axle in a single rotational direction as the connecting rod is oscillated up and down and back and forth. Even though a solid connecting rod is used to transfer power from the oscillating forearm bars to the crank axle, the vehicle is steerable to the right or left as a result of the use of a carriage, on rollers, and a turning track operatively connected to the forearm bars.
Bicycle handlebar comprising additional handlebar grips
A bicycle handlebar comprising an additional handlebar grip having an additional wrist rest is provided. The additional handlebar grip is arranged between the conventional handlebar grip and the fitting and comprises an upper flattened and a lower flattened surface. The additional handlebar grip can also contain a grip piece that comprises a further flattened support surface. In particular, the upper flattened surface can be designed as a depression between the clamp and the grip piece. A two-component design of the additional handlebar grip, having a main component that comprises a mandrel, and an attachment to be fitted onto the mandrel, is also possible. In this case, the second component can be made of plastics material. In another embodiment, the second component comprises a grip piece having two support surfaces that are arranged laterally on the grip piece.
ELECTROMECHANICAL CONTROL DEVICE AND METHODS FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL CONTROL OF A BICYCLE
An electromechanical control system for a bicycle has a switch device, the switch device operating a switch between at least three positions. A control communication device transmits signals responsive to operation of the switch. The electromechanical control system includes an operation device configured to respond to signals transmitted by the control communication device. Signals transmitted by the control communication device include commands to listen and commands to operate.
Adjustable aerobar riser assembly for a bicycle
An adjustable riser assembly for mounting a handle bar assembly on a bicycle comprising a riser post; a tilt adjustment plate; the riser post including a curved mounting surface for receiving the tilt adjustment plate and the curved mounting surface being configured to support the tilt adjustment plate in a range of adjustable angular positions; and a bolt fastener for securing the tilt adjustment to the riser post in an angular position or a horizontal position.
TRICYCLE WITH DUAL STEERING HANDLEBARS
A tricycle that allows riding in adequate conditions over any type of terrain is disclosed, the tricycle having a structural frame onto which a seat and several pedals are incorporated, equipped with a rolling assembly made up of one rear wheel and two parallel front wheels, with the front wheels incorporated into two mounting forks equipped with several respective stems projecting upwards.
