Dual steerable vehicle
A tricycle may be operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an individual pushing the tricycle. In both such first and second modes, the frame of the tricycle is configured to rotatably support the rear wheels and configured to support the head tube at a distance from the rear wheels such that a distance between the head tube and rear wheels need not necessarily be changed even when the front wheel axis location is changed from one mode to another.
Steering apparatus with forward extended fork legs
A steering apparatus with forward extended fork legs includes left and right fork legs that extend from a wheel axle all the way up to a handlebar. Top fork portions support a handlebar in a more forward location. A mid-fork portion of each fork leg is positioned in front of the steering column to provide more clearance room for the rider's knees. The top ends of the fork legs are positioned a forward distance in front of the vertical axis defined by the steering column. Each fork leg may be tilted forward with respect to the steering column and may also include a forward bend to direct portions of each fork leg towards the front.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETACHABLE BICYCLE HANDLEBARS
System and method for detachable handlebars and fixing said handlebars onto a mount are presented. Specifically, the handlebars are independent the bicycle and mount; in some arrangements, the handlebar locking shaft may include a non-clamping connection that allows for the handlebars to attach to the bicycle quickly and easily and to prevent the handlebars from sliding, rotating, disengaging, or otherwise moving while a user is on the bicycle. The non-threaded assembly disclosed in accordance with the present invention may generally exploit several compression mechanisms to bias a series of keys into a locking position to secure the handlebars attachment to the bicycle or mount. Other embodiments are also included.
DUAL STEERABLE VEHICLE

In both such first and second modes, the frame of the tricycle is configured to rotatably support the rear wheels and configured to support the head tube at a distance from the rear wheels such that a distance between the head tube and rear wheels need not necessarily be changed even when the front wheel axis location is changed from one mode to another.
Compactable bicycle
A compactable bicycle comprising a frame including a first and second frame portions wherein the frame is unfoldable to a use position for riding by the rider and is foldable to a storage position for storage. The bicycle includes: a rear brake, a rear brake lever, a rear break cable passes through a first cable guide, and a brake cable biasing member that is positioned to urge the rear brake cable back through the first cable guide to be between the first cable guide and the rear brake lever: front and rear wheel connectors to hold the front and rear wheels together: a crank, a front sprocket, a rear cassette, rear sprockets, a chain, and a derailleur; a chain guide that is positioned to engage the chain and to limit a lateral angle of the chain relative to the rear sprocket: or first and second frame element locking surfaces and apertures, and a plunger movable to a clamping position and to a release position.

VEHICLE HAVING A SWIVEL WHEEL
A tricycle may be operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an individual pushing the tricycle. A rider handle, in the first mode, may be configured to be rotationally coupled with the stem in a manner permitting a tricycle rider to exert forces on the rider handle and thereby turn the fork, and the rider handle in the second mode, being configured to be rotationally uncoupled from the stem, preventing forces on the rider handle from turning the fork. At least one rotation restrictor may be included for preventing the front wheel from turning to a position where the front wheel axis leads the fork axis, and for maintaining the front wheel axis in a position trailing the fork axis both when the tricycle is propelled by a tricycle rider in the first mode and when the tricycle is pushed from behind in the second mode.
