Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a bottom portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a front portion, a rear portion, an interior region, and a crown portion. The crown portion may have a first opening and a second opening. The crown portion may have a reinforcement portion extending between and separating the first opening and the second opening. The golf club head may include a cover portion attached to the crown portion. The cover portion may cover the first opening, the second opening, and the reinforcement portion. A golf club head including a body having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The body further includes a cavity in the front portion. The cavity having a protrusion and a step configured to receive a strikeplate, such that a gap exists between the strikeplate and the inner surface of the cavity.

A grip device is disposed on a handle of a piece of equipment. The grip device includes a lower concave surface contacting the handle and a lower concave surface oriented away from the handle. An adhesive tape is wrapped around the handle and grip device in one embodiment. In another embodiment, an adhesive layer is disposed between the handle and grip device. The lower concave surface includes a first taper at an end of the grip device oriented toward a knob of the handle. The upper convex surface includes a second taper at an end of the grip device oriented away from the knob of the handle. The grip device bends to follow a curvature of the handle.

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a method of manufacturing a golf club head may include forming a body portion having an interior cavity portion and a plurality of ports, forming a face portion, attaching the face portion to the body portion to close the interior cavity, injecting a polymer material into the interior cavity portion through a port in the body portion, and closing the ports with a plurality of mass portions. At least one physical property of the first filler material is different from at least one physical property of the second filler material. An apparatus for engagement with a barrel of a bat includes a cup and at least one cover. The cup is secured for securement to a distal end of the barrel of the bat. The cup defines a cavity and includes a first connector portion. The at least one cover has a second connector portion cooperating with the first connector portion to releasably secure the cover to the cup over the cavity.

The golf club head body is defined by a crown, a sole, and a skirt. The crown is coupled to the crown end of the face. The sole is coupled to the sole end of the face. The skirt is coupled to the sole and the crown. The golf club head body defines a trailing edge, the trailing edge being the rearwardmost edge of the golf club head body.

Golf club heads include a golf club head body, a ball striking face, and a shaft engaging member configured to engage a golf club shaft with the golf club head body. The golf club head may be configured with a first piece and a second piece, which may be in the form of the shaft engaging member and a body member connected to the shaft engaging member. The shaft engaging member includes a base member and an arm extending from the base member, and the body member includes a face having a striking surface configured for striking a ball and a club head body positioned behind the face, the second piece having a receiving slot positioned behind the face, where the base member of the first piece is at least partially received within the receiving slot.
