Clipless pedal
A clipless pedal includes a pedal body having a tubular part mounted to an axle. The tubular part divides the pedal body into a first portion and a second portion. A tongue extends from the inside of the first portion. A board is formed between the tubular part and the inside of the second portion of the pedal body. A clip is connected to the pedal body and includes a base and an engaging which is connected to the base. The first end of the baes is fixed to the tongue by two first bolts from the top of the base. The second end of the base is fixed to the board by two second bolds which extend through the board and are connected to the underside of the second end of the base. The base of the clip can bear high torque applied to it.
Pedal with detachable shoe platform and adjustable toe clip
A pedal that includes a pedal body having a clipless structure and a member. The clipless structure includes a lip at a first portion of the pedal and a cleat at a second portion of the pedal. The pedal includes a detachable shoe platform having a cleat portion securable to the lip and a clip securable to the member. The detachable shoe platform may include an adjustable toe clip having a strap, which wraps around a shoe of a rider. The strap is adjustable by an adjustable strap fastener assembly having a lever coupled to a plate secured in a housing. The lever includes a first end biased against the strap and a second end engaged by a trigger. The trigger is operable to move the lever from a closed position to an open position against the bias force, thereby releasing the strap for adjustment.
Bike pedal shoe platform apparatus
A bike pedal shoe platform apparatus for stabilizing a rider's foot on an exercise bike includes a platform dimensioned to receive the entirety of a user's shoe. A pair of mounting posts is coupled to the platform with each mounting post extending perpendicularly from a platform bottom side. A pedal holder is coupled to the pair of mounting posts. The pedal holder secures a pedal against the platform bottom side. A heel plate is coupled to the platform. The heel plate is coupled to the outer perimeter along the heel portion. A strap is coupled to the platform. The strap is coupled to the outer perimeter and extends from the insole portion to the outsole portion. The strap is adjustable to secure the user's shoe to the platform top side.
PEDAL STRUCTURE FOR EXERCISE BIKE
A pedal structure is respectively provided with different coupling structures on two sides of a pedal body to couple and lock the feet of users who wear different types of shoes on the pedal body. One of the sides of the pedal body is provided with a clip coupling structure for coupling and locking a cleat mounted to a bottom of a road bike cycling shoe, and the opposite side of the pedal body is provided with a toe-clip pedal for tying and fixing a regular sports shoe and a skidding prevention structure for preventing skidding relative to the sole of the sports shoe. With such a dual-sided pedal arrangement, the feet of users who wear different types of shoes can be securely held on the pedal body to prevent skidding or idle pedaling during pedaling of the exercise bike to thereby improve accuracy of the training data detected by a training signal detection device.
Pedal with cuff locking and unlocking mechanism
Embodiments relate to a pedal system having a cuff for retaining a foot or footwear at the pedal in a manner that supports different sizes and form factors of feet or footwear. The pedal system has a rod secured to a pedal in a rotatable manner and the cuff is coupled to the rod. A lever may be coupled to the rod in a manner where engagement of the lever by the user's foot or footwear affects the rod and thus, a position of the cuff relative to the user's foot or footwear. The lever and the cuff may retain the user's foot or footwear at the pedal in an engaged mode and release the user's foot or footwear from the top surface in a disengaged mode. The pedal system is switchable between the engaged mode and the disengaged mode.

The present invention relates to a bicycle pedal adapter configured to be clicked onto a bicycle pedal which is intended and constructed to be used for a bicycle shoe having a cleat, wherein the bicycle pedal adapter is configured to convert the bicycle pedal to a bicycle pedal suitable to be used with a normal shoe without a cleat, wherein the bicycle pedal adapter is flat, wherein the bicycle pedal adapter comprises a main body having a height, a width and a length, wherein the width is more than four times the height and wherein the length is more than five times the height, and wherein the main body has a front end and a rear end, the bicycle pedal adapter comprising:a front coupling at the front end, the front coupling being configured to mate with a front clamping member of the bicycle pedal anda rear coupling at the rear end, the rear coupling being configured to mate with a rear clamping member of the bicycle pedal, and wherein the bicycle pedal adapter is configured to be clicked onto the bicycle pedal and to be uncoupled from the bicycle pedal, and wherein the bicycle pedal adapter comprises a foot support surface which faces upwards, wherein the main body does not comprise a plurality of coupling holes via which the bicycle pedal adapter can be connected to a bicycle shoe via a connecting member.
Reconfigurable foot clip apparatus and method of use
A reconfigurable foot clip having a foot receiver having (i) a base with a foot abutment surface and a bicycle abutment surface on opposite sides of the base, and (ii) a center axis extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the foot receiver. The reconfigurable foot clip also includes a pair of sidewalls extending upward from the foot abutment surface, each of the pair of sidewalls have an uppermost perimeter portion extending toward another one of the pair of sidewalls. The reconfigurable foot clip also includes a fastening member (i) having a bicycle abutment wall extending downward from the bicycle abutment surface, and (ii) operable to secure the reconfigurable foot clip to a portion of a bicycle in one of a plurality of modes, each of the plurality of modes defined by an orientation of the foot clip and the bicycle.
Pedal with locking and unlocking mechanism
Embodiments relate to a pedal system having a pedal coupled to a main drive shaft having a locked mode where the pedal does not rotate relative to the main drive shaft and a released mode where the pedal can rotate relative to the main drive shaft. In the locked mode, rotation of the pedal relative to the main drive shaft is prevented by a plunger that engages the main drive shaft. In the released mode, rotation of the pedal relative to the main drive shaft is enabled by having the plunger disengage from the main drive shaft. The pedal system is switchable between the locked and released modes. When a user's foot or footwear is engaging the pedal, the pedal is placed in the released mode, and when the user's foot or footwear is disengaged from the pedal, the pedal is placed in the locked mode.
