A target assembly that is configured to withstand high-velocity impact from a projectile. These configurations may comprise elastic members, or bungee cords, that generate elastic forces to return the target assembly to its orientation prior to impact. The bungee cords are less likely to undergo inelastic deformation; so these components afford the target assembly with longer life or longevity under heavy duty cycles.

A portable sports practice net includes a frame with a base to which removable vertical poles having top side bar supports are joined holds a net to create an opening, such as a goal opening. The top side bar supports have a unique shape and extend horizontally from the top of the vertical poles in a manner that reduces the weight placed on the net fabric hung between the vertical poles. The top side bar supports also create a depth of the goal pocket without need for additional vertical posts. Each vertical post creates a pivot point at its bottom end, such that each vertical post is urged apart from the other post to create tension or leverage between the opposite top side bar supports, thus creating a net opening with a more realistic goal shape and reducing sag at the top edge.

A device including a base sheet, a top sheet fixed to the base sheet, and a profile cut into the top sheet delineating a foldable shape from a flat shape in the top sheet, wherein the foldable shape moves between a lowered position and a raised position. The flat shape has a forwardly-directed edge, projecting above the base sheet to define a stop formed by both the base sheet and the top sheet, and against which a rearwardly-directed edge of the foldable shape rests when the foldable shape is in the raised position.

A sports net system has a frame attached to rails of a garage door, the frame having vertical tubes, a sports net attached to the frame, and an angling attachment attached to the frame, the angling attachment to allow the frame to tilt relative to the rails of the garage door. A sports net system has ground-mountable support rails having vertical slots, a frame having vertical tubes that fit within the vertical slots, a sports net attached to the frame, and an angling attachment attached to the frame, the angling attachment to allow the frame to tilt relative to the support rails.

A device comprising a substantially flat device. The device has a front edge, a side edge, and a rear edge. The device is attached to a goal with an attachment means. The goal has a open portion defined by two goal posts, the goal posts having a bottom portion, the goal has a closed side and rear netting portion, the front edge of the device runs tightly between each side of the goal post, the front edge of the device is attached to the bottom portion of each goal post, or post side frame and the side edge and the rear edge of the device are attached along the closed side and rear netting portions of the goal structure respectively. The device forms a continuous angled surface between the front to closed portion of the goal. The device is an in-goal ball return device.

A foldable goal frame includes first to third support bars forming a base, first and second vertical bars joined to the base, and a top bar joined to the vertical bars. The third support bar is joined to the first and second support bars by first and second folding joints. The first and second vertical bars are respectively joined to the first and second support bars by third and fourth folding joints. The first and second vertical bars are joined to the top bar by fifth and sixth folding joints. Two inclined support bars are each joined between a vertical bar and a corresponding support bar; each inclined support bar has two sections joined together by a folding joint. The top bar and third support bar each has a telescoping structure. The folding joints allow the entire goal frame to be folded into a bundle of parallel bars.

A retractable sports goal includes a base housing and a goal frame. The housing includes first and second post sections and a crossbar section. The goal frame includes first and second goal posts and a crossbar. The bottom ends of the goal posts are in contact with the post sections during movement of the goal frame between a retracted position and a playing position. In the retracted position the goal frame is disposed in the housing with the goal posts and the crossbar respectively disposed adjacent the first and second post sections and the crossbar section, in the playing position the goal frame is disposed vertically with the bottom ends of the goal posts respectively disposed adjacent front ends of the first and second post sections.

A breakaway trainer device features a first leg pad mimicking member, a second leg pad mimicking member connected to said second pad-mimicking member; and first and second connectors operable to respectively connect the first and second leg pad mimicking members to first and second posts of a goal net to place the first and second leg pad mimicking members in positions projecting outward from the goal net at a converging angle with one another. The leg pad members feature an optionally adjustable five-hole between their proximal ends, and optionally adjustable scoring holes at their distal ends near the goal posts. Adjustable connectors and/or extendable/collapsible leg pad members enable quick and easy adjustment of the angular positions and forward/rearward reach and placement of the leg pad members to simulated various goaltender positions.

A goal securement device includes a ground engagement system, a ground securement system, a goal securement system, and a goal securement monitoring system. In an embodiment, the systems work cooperatively to secure a goal to the ground and monitor the status of such securement. Embodiments of each system and embodiments of various components, aspects, or features of each system are described.

A mixed reality golf simulation and training system that can use, along with a user's existing standard golf equipment, a golf ball launch monitor to track the initial ball positional data, spin and acceleration, and simulate the complete ball path and location or use complete ball tracking data and displays the actual ball path and location. Mixed reality glasses allow the display of ball tracking data over the real world view and/or an immersive display of a simulated world view, depending on the user's head or view position. Golf simulation graphical views can include various options, including simulated or panoramic photographic views of a golf course, simulated graphics and data superimposed over a real world driving range view, or simple ball tracking data superimposed over a real world view at any location.
