SOLAR POWERED BOAT
A solar powered aquatic vessel includes a hull having an overall length equal to a length of a waterline and a maximum hull draft at station that is located at a position that is approximately 30% of the overall length of the hull. A bottom of the hull has an approximately linear slope from a maximum beam to a transom forming a stern of the hull. A canopy is connected to the hull of the solar powered aquatic vessel and supports at least one photovoltaic panel connected to a photovoltaic system positioned in the hull. The photovoltaic system generates electrical power from a sun that is equal to or greater than an electrical power necessary to propel the solar powered vehicle, and a motor operatively connected to the photovoltaic system.
SLIDING ROOF PANEL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ITS OPERATION
A sliding roof panel assembly for covering a roof opening of a marine craft is disclosed. The sliding roof panel assembly comprises a slide guide for attachment along one side of the roof opening, a roof panel which is slidably moveable between an open and lifted position and a closed and lowered position, the roof opening being covered by the roof panel in the closed and lowered position, and a slide assembly guided for travel along the slide guide and supporting the roof panel. The slide guide has a slide track and a guide rail, the slide track and the guide rail each extending along the slide guide, the guide rail having a forward depressed portion and a rearward raised portion. The slide assembly comprises a drive slide driveably moveable along the slide track of the slide guide, a guide rail follower supported by and moveable along the guide rail, the guide rail follower supporting the roof panel, and a first lever, linking the drive slide and the roof panel via respective rotatable links. In use, the roof panel is slidably moveable from the open and lifted position to the closed and lowered position by driving the drive slide forward in the slide track to move the guide rail follower forward along the rearward raised portion of the guide rail until the guide rail follower reaches the forward depressed portion of the guide rail. The guide rail follower travels downwardly along the forward depressed portion of the guide rail relative to the drive slide by the weight of the roof panel and rotation of the first lever, the roof panel following the movement of the guide rail follower downwardly towards the closed and lowered position.
SHADING DEVICE OF A VEHICLE
A shading device of a water vehicle, having a roller blind web, a winding unit, onto which the roller blind web can be wound or unwound and which, in relation to a longitudinal center plane of the roller blind web, is borne on both sides so as to be rotatable, and comprising, in relation to the longitudinal center plane of the roller blind web on each of its two sides, a telescopic tube arrangement having a bearing tube that is fixed relative to the vehicle and having at least one first pull-out tube and one second pull-out tube, which are displaceable between a slid-in position, the roller blind web having been wound up onto the winding unit when being in said position, and a pulled-out position, the roller blind web having been unwound from the winding unit when being in said position.
GAS ASSISTED INJECTION MOLDED BOAT TOP
Synthetic polymer boat tops are made by injection molding processes in which channels for power cables, leads, and the like are molded simultaneously in situ with the tops using gas assistance methods.
Watercraft Canopy for U-Shaped Dock
A canopy structure includes arch members defining a barrel vault and horizontal members. Each of the upper horizontal members is affixed to the parallel arch members. The canopy structure further includes arched vertical supports. The upper horizontal supports are affixed to the arched vertical supports. The canopy structure further includes lower horizontal members. Each of the lower horizontal members is affixed to the parallel arch members. According to another aspect, a canopy structure includes a U-shaped dock surrounding a watercraft mooring area. The canopy structure includes inner dock arm edges located on opposite sides of the watercraft mooring area. The canopy structure further includes vertical supports affixed to at least two of the inner dock arm edges. The vertical supports support a canopy frame. The canopy frame defines a barrel vault.
Bimini and watercraft having a bimini
A bimini having a collapsible frame and a top is disclosed. The collapsible frame, which has a first support and a second support that is pivotable relative to the first support about a pivot axis, is movable between a collapsed configuration and an extended configuration. The top, which has a first top portion that defines a cavity and a second top portion that is flexible, extends between the first and second supports. In the extended configuration of the collapsible frame, the top is taut between the first and second supports, and in the collapsed configuration of the collapsible frame, the second top portion is selectively at least partially stored in the cavity defined by the first top portion. A watercraft having the bimini is also disclosed.
Folding sun cover
A foldable sun cover mountable on a watersports tower of a boat. The sun cover includes a pair of frames connected to a pair of hubs mounted on opposite sides of the tower, each hub having a pair of movable mounts. Each of the movable mounts is connected to one of the frames and independently movable to orient the frames each to a locked and deployed position in which each frame is locked in a substantially horizontal position so that each frame is substantially aligned with and parallel to the other frame.
FISHING ROD HOLDING APPARATUS AND RELATED BOAT AND METHOD
A fishing rod holding apparatus is provided. The apparatus may include a crossbar and one or more rod receivers affixed to the crossbar. Each of the rod receivers may be configured to receive a fishing rod. Further, the apparatus may include at least one bracket engaged with the crossbar and configured to engage a boat. The apparatus may additionally include an actuator engaged with crossbar and configured to rotate the crossbar to change an angle of the one or more rod receivers with respect to the vertical plane. A related boat and a related boat accessory operation method are also provided.
Portable canopy cover for fishing boats
A portable canopy for use with a boat having a covered helm and at least two fishing rod holders mounted thereto. The portable canopy employs a first tubular shaped support member having a proximal end securable to a rod holder found on a fishing boat. A second tubular shaped support member having a proximal end is secured to a second rod holder, adjacent to, but spaced apart from, the first support member. The first and second support members are secured to the rod holders by use of locking pins. A spreader bar is attached to the distal end of each said support member, forming a rigid frame between the support members and the rod holders. A fabric cover extends between the support members, providing shade to the occupants beneath the canopy.
