20240067306 · 2024-02-29 ·

A temporary hatch insert facilitating void space servicing wherein the hatch insert is sized to be received in a given hatch opening and will support a person walking across the insert in the hatch opening, and wherein the hatch insert includes a plurality of openings for venting or ventilation of the void space during servicing of the same. A fan or blower mount may be secured below the hatch insert to facilitate venting of the void space.

ANTENNA ELEMENT HAVING A SEGMENTATION CUT PLANE

Described is a radio frequency (RF) array antenna element provided from a multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) having disposed thereon a plurality of dual-polarized antenna elements with each of the dual-polarized antenna elements disposed to define a segmentation cut plane therebetween to enable size modification and modular construction of the RF array antenna.

Double seal kayak hatch

The present invention provides a sealing device for an opening. The device includes a body that has a first side and a second side. A passageway is formed through the body such that the passageway has a first end adjacent to the first side and a second end that is adjacent to the second side. A sealing member is provided that includes an outer gasket and an inner gasket. The outer gasket is positioned adjacent the first side and the inner gasket is positioned adjacent the second side. A seal connector connects the inner gasket and the outer gasket and the seal connector passes through the passageway. In this way, the inner gasket and the outer gasket are mechanically attached to the ring. The sealing device is configured for use in such applications as sealing the cargo opening on the deck of a kayak.

Storage compartment for a personal watercraft

A cover adapted to be reversibly attached over an opening of a storage compartment contained on a personal watercraft. The cover includes a generally planar substrate having formed therein a dry storage chamber and at least one additional feature selected from the group consisting of a cup holder, an equipment rail, a surround tray, an accessory mounting plate, and a magnetic surface.

Storage assembly for a vehicle

A storage assembly for a vehicle has an outer compartment defined by an outer peripheral wall, an outer compartment lid operatively connected to the outer peripheral wall and moveable between an open position providing access to an interior of the outer compartment and a closed position blocking access to the interior of the outer compartment; and an inner compartment integrally formed within the outer compartment, the inner compartment being defined by an inner peripheral wall. The inner compartment comprises an inner compartment lid operatively connected to the inner peripheral wall and being moveable between an open position providing access to an interior of the inner compartment and a closed position blocking access to the interior of the inner compartment, and a sealing assembly for sealing the interior of the inner compartment when the inner compartment lid is in the closed position. A vehicle including the storage assembly is also disclosed.

Rain-guard device for shipping

A rain-guard device for shipping is provided that can restrain water from seeping from an end part of the lid member. A rain-guard device for shipping 20 includes a rail 19, which is placed on a sliding hatch cover 11, an on-board chute 22, which is provided in the rail 19 in a travelable manner, which covers part of a hatch opening 13, and which, furthermore, supplies cargo from a shiploader 1 into the hold 7, and a lid member 23 to cover the rest of the hatch opening 13. The lid member 23 is formed in an arch shape in cross section. A waterproof seal 92 for restraining water from seeping into the lid member 23 is provided at an end part of the lid member 23 opposite to the ship chute 22 among end parts of the lid member 23.

Multi-layer hatch cover support pad

The invention provides a multi-layer hatch cover support pad for supporting a hatch cover on a coaming structure of a ship. The multi-layer hatch cover support pad comprises an outer wear surface for sliding against a mating surface provided on the hatch cover or the coaming structure, a wear layer comprising first and second opposite sides, the first side defining the outer wear surface, the wear layer comprising a first plastic material, and, a base layer comprising third and fourth opposite sides, the third side being joined to the second side. The base layer comprises a second polymer material which is less abrasion resistant than the first plastic material. By making the base layer, which in practice makes up the main part of the multi-layer hatch cover support pad, out of the second polymer material, the cost of the multi-layer hatch cover support pad is decreased. The multi-layer hatch cover support pad may further comprise an internal wear indicator body for indicating wear of the wear layer and/or an identification unit for identifying the multi-layer hatch cover support pad. A method of producing the multi-layer hatch cover support pad, as well as a use of the multi-layer hatch cover support pad, is also provided.
