Basketball return backstop net with angular adjustability
A freestanding basketball backstop assembly returns basketballs shot at a basketball hoop to a player positioned at a location spaced apart from the basketball hoop. A net support has a base and side legs, with vertical rods removably insertable into sockets of the side legs and threaded through sleeves extending from the side edges of the net peripheral border. The base is placed in front of the post supporting the basketball backboard. In one embodiment, the net is arranged behind the post supporting the backboard, and a slit opening in the bottom periphery of the net receives a portion of the post supporting the backboard. In other embodiments, the net remains in front of the post supporting the backboard, and the vertical rods are set variably to place the net in different angle orientations so that the assembly may be used either as a backstop assembly, or as a defender barrier in front of the basketball basket or as a barrier or practice net for other sports.
Blow molded part including compression molded element
In one example, a structure is provided that includes a plastic body having a unitary, single-piece construction. The plastic body further includes a substantially hollow interior, and a parting line that extends around a portion of the perimeter of the structure. The structure also includes a solid compression molded element that is integral with the plastic body. The solid compression molded element is configured and arranged such that the parting line is not connected to the solid compression molded element.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USING A GAME APPARATUS FOR BOUNCING PROJECTILES
A game apparatus includes an elastic material secured and stretched onto a chassis to create a material surface. The material surface receives a thrown projectile and bounces the projectile from the surface. The material surface faces players at an angle to return or project objects thrown at it. In use, the stretched surface is generally at an angle between 25 to 40 degrees from parallel with a playing surface. A player stands or sits in close proximity to the game apparatus and tosses a lightweight object at the stretched surface. The height and tension of the stretched surface are generally fixed to produce consistent bounce back results. The game apparatus is a toy for a tabletop space or oversized for floor or lawn use. The game apparatus and accessories (including mats, trays, cups, spiked balls and coins) may be used in family, pub, cafe and outdoor environments.
METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND KITS FOR FACILITATING A GAMEPLAY
Disclosed herein is a game apparatus for facilitating a gameplay by disposing the game apparatus on a surface, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the game apparatus comprises a panel and a kickstand. Further, a right panel and a left panel of the panel are rotatable for transitioning the panel between a folded position and an extended position. Further, a front surface of the panel forms a playing surface in the extended position. Further, the kickstand is attached to a rear surface of the panel. Further, the kickstand is rotatable for transitioning the kickstand between a close stand position and an open stand position. Further, the kickstand is configured for inclinably supporting the panel on the surface with an inclination in the open stand position. Further, disposing and the inclinably supporting of the panel on the surface in the extended position allows striking of an object on the playing surface.
COLUMN CONFIGURATION FOR SPORTING EQUIPMENT
A portable sporting equipment assembly including a column removably attachable to a base. The column can include a tapered foundation and can be inserted through a bottom of the base. The base includes an opening with a taper that is complimentary to the tapered foundation of the column. One or more horizontal notches can secure the tapered foundation of the column into the base when engaged with one or more horizontal recessions of the opening of the base. The tapered foundation can reduce strain at an interface between the column and the base.
