Embodiments relate generally to a turret system for use in a floating vessel. The turret system may comprise a turret body and windlass subsystem. The turret system may comprise top and bottom surfaces, first and second mooring line storage sections, and first and second mooring line channel sections. Each mooring line storage section may include an opening and cavity. Each opening is operable to receive a mooring line. The first and second mooring line channel sections may be separate elongated passageways for first and second mooring lines, respectively, to be directed through the turret body and an exterior of the floating vessel without coming into contact with one another. The windlass subsystem may comprise a rotatable member, and configured to be transportable between locations. When the windlass assembly is configured to be secured to the turret body, the windlass assembly is configurable to control a movement of a mooring line.

An emergency vessel towing system includes a vessel attachment system, a retrieving system, and a towing line. The vessel attachment system is configured to connect to a vessel at sea, and includes a bridle system and a hawser line. The bridle system is operatively connected to the hawser line's proximal end. The bridle system is configured to engage at least four fittings on a foredeck of the vessel to distribute the load over the foredeck. The retrieving system includes a retrieving line with a proximal end that is detachably connected to the hawser line's distal end in a setup position. The towing line is detachably connected to the hawser line's distal end in a towing position.
EMERGENCY VESSEL TOWING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An emergency vessel towing system includes a vessel attachment system, a retrieving system, and a towing line. The vessel attachment system is configured to connect to a vessel at sea, and includes a bridle system and a hawser line. The bridle system is operatively connected to the hawser line's proximal end. Chain Stopper
The invention relates to a device (60), such as a chain stopper, for connecting a chain 320 or at least one portion of a chain (320) to a structure (55), such as an offshore structure or vessel. The device comprising a first portion (70) pivotably or rotatably connected or connectable to a structure (55) so as to provide movement of the first portion (70) relative to a structure (55) about or around a first axis (310) of the first portion (70). The first portion comprises a chain or line guiding means (75) arranged for rotational movement about or around the first axis (310) of the first portion (70). In some examples, the device (70) may comprise a second portion (80) pivotably or rotatably connected or connectable to the first portion (70) so as to provide movement of the second portion (80) relative to the first portion (70) about or around a second axis (315) of the second portion. In some examples, the device may comprise at least one means for engaging (85) a chain 320, the engaging means (85) being connected, such as pivotably or rotatably connected, to the second portion.
Chain Stopper
The invention relates to a device (60), such as a chain stopper, for connecting a chain 320 or at least one portion of a chain (320) to a structure (55), such as an offshore structure or vessel. The device comprising a first portion (70) pivotably or rotatably connected or connectable to a structure (55) so as to provide movement of the first portion (70) relative to a structure (55) about or around a first axis (310) of the first portion (70). The first portion comprises a chain or line guiding means (75) arranged for rotational movement about or around the first axis (310) of the first portion (70). In some examples, the device (70) may comprise a second portion (80) pivotably or rotatably connected or connectable to the first portion (70) so as to provide movement of the second portion (80) relative to the first portion (70) about or around a second axis (315) of the second portion. In some examples, the device may comprise at least one means for engaging (85) a chain 320, the engaging means (85) being connected, such as pivotably or rotatably connected, to the second portion.
Towing device with a hinged fairlead
A towing device, intended to be fitted to the deck of a ship, comprises a winch, a cable and a fairlead, the cable running through the fairlead under the action of the winch. The fairlead comprises at least a first and a second sector, the sectors allowing the cable to be guided in a groove made in each of the sectors, a first articulation with a degree of freedom to rotate about an axis, the articulation connecting the two sectors, the axis being substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the cable runs substantially through the fairlead at the articulation, and limiting means that limit the angular travel of the articulation. The sectors and the limiting means are dimensioned so as to prevent the cable from exceeding a lower limit of radius of curvature.
Towing device with a hinged fairlead
A towing device, intended to be fitted to the deck of a ship, comprises a winch, a cable and a fairlead, the cable running through the fairlead under the action of the winch. The fairlead comprises at least a first and a second sector, the sectors allowing the cable to be guided in a groove made in each of the sectors, a first articulation with a degree of freedom to rotate about an axis, the articulation connecting the two sectors, the axis being substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the cable runs substantially through the fairlead at the articulation, and limiting means that limit the angular travel of the articulation. The sectors and the limiting means are dimensioned so as to prevent the cable from exceeding a lower limit of radius of curvature.
