AN ANCHOR FOR A WATERCRAFT
20240010303 · 2024-01-11 ·

An anchor for a watercraft comprising a shank and at least one prong adapted for attachment to the shank, wherein the anchor for a watercraft also comprises at least one weakened connection configured to release the at least one prong from the shank when a load on the at least one prong exceeds a predetermined threshold.

Anchor for a ship

Provided is an anchor for a ship that may facilitate retrieval of the anchor as a folding operation of the anchor is smoothly performed by improving a design of a contact portion such that a mechanical contact resistance of components that perform a folding operation of the anchor is minimized. Consequently, the anchor may be easily retrieved without cutting the wire or the iron chain, that is, without loss of the anchor in a situation in which the anchor arm is caught by an underwater structure not to be pulled out when the ship leaves a harbor after the mooring.

SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A MARINE VESSEL USING A SINGLE COMMAND OPERATOR
20200108902 · 2020-04-09 ·

A system for controlling a marine vessel comprises an input device for inputting an operator command, a sensor which senses and signals an engine function variable or a vessel dynamic variable, and a first structural element and a second structural element. The first structural element and the second structural element each control speed or direction of motion of the marine vessel, and the first structural element and the second structural element each affect the marine vessel dynamic variable. There is a controller which receives the operator command and the engine function variable or the vessel dynamic variable. The controller moves the first structural element and the second structural element based on the engine function variable or the vessel dynamic variable, after receiving the single operator command.

Decoy Control Apparatus

Reconfigurable anchor system for watercraft
10308323 · 2019-06-04 · ·

An anchor system for watercraft includes: a hub including a receiving contour; a skirt removably securable to the hub along a receiving contour of the hub, wherein: the skirt at least partially surrounds an inner recess and includes a gap such that such that the skirt is not circumferentially continuous; and the skirt is configurable in an open position and a closed position, wherein when the skirt is in the open position the gap is wider than when the skirt is in the closed position. The inner recess of the skirt has a radius that is larger than a complementary radius of the receiving contour of the hub when the skirt is in the open position. When in the closed position, the radiuses are substantially the same, such that the skirt is secured to the hub when the skirt is in the closed position.
