A system for the recovery of a surface marine craft by a carrier ship includes a lifting device with which the carrier ship is intended to be equipped and which includes a lifting unit of the davit type, equipped with a lifting cable including, at one end, a connection interface, a pole bearing a guide cable, an anchor connected to one end of the guide cable, the connection interface for the lifting cable being coupled removably to the anchor, and a hauling cable. The system also includes a receiving device with which the marine craft is intended to be equipped, the receiving device including a forward module.

A vessel for towing another vessel comprises a hull, a tow cable coupled to the hull, a hook having a first leg fixed to a free end of the cable, a second leg including a free end and a hook bottom. The first and second legs form an opening for receiving a rope located at the vessel and launched from another vessel. The first and second legs extend in a main plane. A rope positioning system positions a rope and a hook support for the hook with respect to each other such that the rope extends in transverse direction of the main plane at the opening of the hook when the hook is linked to the hook support. A rope pressing system presses the rope the hook towards the hook bottom when the hook is linked to the hook support, creating a clamping force between the legs and the rope.

A storage-container includes a hollow compartment with a storage-cover sealing a watertight interior space. The storage-container is able to be coupled to a stern of a kayak to provide an auxiliary storage compartment for the kayak. The compartment is a unitary, rigid component having a right-fin and a left-fin which extend forwardly on either side of the kayak stern, and a peaked-terminus at the back end where the right-fin and the left-fin recede to. Between the right-fin and the left-fin at the front side adjacent to the stern of the kayak is a concavity to accommodate the stern. The interior compartment inhabits both the right-fin and the left-fin, being centered between. The storage-port opens into this interior compartment. A fastener aperture is vertically oriented near the concavity to enable a fastener to connect the container to the kayak stern.

A storage-container includes a hollow compartment with a storage-cover sealing a watertight interior space. The storage-container is able to be coupled to a stern of a kayak to provide an auxiliary storage compartment for the kayak. The compartment is a unitary, rigid component having a right-fin and a left-fin which extend forwardly on either side of the kayak stern, and a peaked-terminus at the back end where the right-fin and the left-fin recede to. Between the right-fin and the left-fin at the front side adjacent to the stern of the kayak is a concavity to accommodate the stern. The interior compartment inhabits both the right-fin and the left-fin, being centered between. The storage-port opens into this interior compartment. A fastener aperture is vertically oriented near the concavity to enable a fastener to connect the container to the kayak stern.

A system may include an inflatable towable vehicle. The inflatable towable vehicle may include a spinner apparatus attached to a bottom side of the inflatable towable vehicle. At least a portion of the spinner apparatus may be configured to be submerged when the inflatable towable vehicle is towed in water. The spinner apparatus may include: a base configured to abut the bottom side of the inflatable towable vehicle when the spinner apparatus is attached to the bottom side of the inflatable towable vehicle; a post extending away from the base; a cylindrical tube, wherein the post may extend through the cylindrical tube, wherein the cylindrical tube may be configured to rotate around the post; and a tow rope attachment member attached to and extending from the cylindrical tube. The inflatable towable vehicle may be configured to rotate as the inflatable towable vehicle is towed.

The towable device having a cover and looped tow strap includes one or more toroidal inflatable tubes surrounded by an abrasion and puncture resistant cover. The cover tightly wraps around the inflated tube(s) to support and contain the tube(s). A top surface of the cover defines openings around the central passageway created by each toroidal tube to allow a rider to enter and occupy the space within the passageway. A lower surface of the cover provides a continuous surface to accommodate sliding during use and support a rider positioned within the center of each tube. A tow strap wraps around a circumference of at least one of the tubes within the cover and extends out a front of the cover for attachment to a towing device.

The towable device having a cover and looped tow strap includes one or more toroidal inflatable tubes surrounded by an abrasion and puncture resistant cover. The cover tightly wraps around the inflated tube(s) to support and contain the tube(s). A top surface of the cover defines openings around the central passageway created by each toroidal tube to allow a rider to enter and occupy the space within the passageway. A lower surface of the cover provides a continuous surface to accommodate sliding during use and support a rider positioned within the center of each tube. A tow strap wraps around a circumference of at least one of the tubes within the cover and extends out a front of the cover for attachment to a towing device.
