BUOY FOR INJECTING FLUID IN A SUBTERRANEAN VOID AND METHODS FOR CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING A FLUID PASSAGE FROM A VESSEL TO THE BUOY
A buoy accomplishes a fluid connection between a vessel on a water surface and a subsea template located on a seabed via at least one riser. A fluid is transported by the fluid connection from the vessel to the subsea template, and the fluid is injected from the subsea template (120) into a subterranean void via a drill hole. At least one valve in the buoy is controllable from an external site in response to commands so as to shut off the fluid connection from the vessel to the at least one riser.
Device for the transfer of cryogenic products between a floating structure and a fixed or floating structure
The present invention concerns a device for the transfer of cryogenic product from a first floating structure (330) for storing cryogenic product to a second fixed or floating structure for storing cryogenic product, comprising pipes (100) configured to transport the cryogenic product between a duct (300) linked to the first structure and a duct (200) linked to the second structure. Said pipes (100) are rigid, carried by buoyancy means (400) and fluidically connected in pairs by connection means (600) suitable for transporting the cryogenic product and allowing at least one degree of freedom. The present invention also concerns a method for retracting a device for the transport of cryogenic product.
Buoyant structure
A petroleum drilling, production, storage and offloading vessel having a hull, a main deck, an upper cylindrical side section extending downwardly from the main deck, an upper frustoconical side section, a cylindrical neck section, a lower ellipsoidal section that extends from the cylindrical neck section, and a fin-shaped appendage secured to a lower and an outer portion of the exterior of a bottom surface. The upper frustoconical side section located below the upper cylindrical side section and maintained to be above a water line for a transport depth and partially below the water line for an operational depth of the petroleum drilling, production, storage and offloading vessel.
Floating driller
A floating driller having a hull, a main deck, an upper cylindrical side section extending downwardly from the main deck, an upper frustoconical side section, a cylindrical neck section, a lower ellipsoidal section that extends from the cylindrical neck section, and a fin-shaped appendage secured to a lower and an outer portion of the exterior of a bottom surface. The upper frustoconical side section located below the upper cylindrical side section and maintained to be above the water line for a transport depth and partially below the water line for an operational depth of the floating driller.
OFFSHORE HYDROCARBON PROCESSING FACILITY AND METHOD OF OPERATION
An offshore hydrocarbon processing facility (2) comprises an offshore floating structure (8) and a submerged floating riser deck (10). The submerged floating riser deck is operatively connected to a subsea hydrocarbon riser (12). Hydrocarbon processing equipment (26) is disposed on the submerged floating riser deck. The offshore floating structure (8) may be connected to the submerged floating riser deck (10) using a riser (16) that can be disconnected if there is inclement weather.
Spread moored buoy and floating production system
An offshore production and storage system includes a spread moored buoy assembly including a riser buoy coupled to a mooring buoy, the riser buoy configured to receive and couple to risers, wherein the spread moored buoy assembly is configured to be pre-installed offshore with the risers coupled thereto, and wherein the spread moored buoy assembly is configured to couple to a floating vessel such that the risers fluidicly couple to the floating vessel via the riser buoy.
Bearing system for turret on a vessel
A bearing system including a wheel assembly transmitting load to a damping assembly, wherein the wheel assembly is configured to rotate angularly relative to the damping assembly.
Jetty-Less Offshore Terminal Configurations
Systems and methods provide for offloading liquefied gas, e.g. LNG, from a cargo vessel offshore and regasifying the offloaded gas. In example systems, a floating storage unit is moored to the seabed offshore; first tubing offloads liquefied gas from the cargo vessel to the storage unit; a jack-up platform is positioned offshore in proximity to the floating storage unit, the jack-up platform comprising legs which are arranged to be supported on the seabed and a hull which is arranged to be jacked up along the legs to a position above the sea surface; a regasification facility is provided on the jack-up platform; second tubing extends between the storage unit and the regasification facility of the jack-up platform for transferring liquified gas from the cargo vessel to the regasification facility for regasification of the liquified gas; and third tubing communicates regasified gas away from the regasification facility, e.g. to shore.
Sea hose load analyzer system
A sea hose load analyzer system is disclosed. The sea hose load analyzer system also includes a transceiver interface. The sea hose load analyzer system also includes a memory storage. The sea hose load analyzer system also includes circuitry may include one or more processors configured to: receive load information of one or more sea hoses as node unit data via the transceiver interface, store the load information in the memory storage, and monitor additional node unit data via the transceiver interface.
