LOGISTICS SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING OBJECTS IN A SPACE
20180040092 · 2018-02-08 ·

A logistics system for managing objects in a space includes at least one boundary area between the space and external surroundings, and transfer devices for handling the objects. The transfer device and/or an object handled thereby has been identified. The system also includes a management unit to identify a mutual order for the objects at a first time instant on the basis of identification and location data regarding the transfer devices and/or the objects, and to determine a desired mutual order for the objects at a second time instant subsequent to the first time instant. In addition, the management unit can commence the actuation of the transfer devices relative to each other prior to the second time instant in such a way that the desired mutual order for the objects will have been achieved at the second time instant.

LNG TANK CONTAINER TRANSPORT SHIP, AND TRANSPORT METHOD USING SAME

An LNG tank container transport ship, according to one embodiment of the present invention, which has a load space on the inside thereof, in which LNG tank containers storing liquefied natural gas are loaded, comprises: a crane which is arranged on the upper part of the load space so as to catch a container to be transported; at least one horizontal transport frame which guides the horizontal direction movement of the crane; and at least one vertical transport frame which is connected to the horizontal transport frame so as to guide the movement of the crane in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal transport frame. According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is an effect of providing a dedicated transport ship for LNG tank container transport by having therein a separate load space so as to load LNG tank containers.

LOGISTICS BRACKET FOR USE IN SECURING AND DECKING FREIGHT
20180022263 · 2018-01-25 ·

A bracket for releasably securing a logistics bar within a trailer or containment vessel to help prevent shifting of freight during transport. The bracket comprises an elongate body having two or more hangers. The hangers are releasably securable to walls of the trailer or containment vessel to hang the bracket from one of the walls. The body has one or more slots therein that releasably receive an end of a logistics bar to permit the logistics bar to be releasably secured to the bracket. The bracket is securable at different locations along the wall of the trailer or containment vessel thereby permitting the positioning of the logistics bar within the trailer or containment vessel at a desired location.

Cooler for use on marine vessels

An exemplary method includes placing one or more items in a cooler that includes a stowage compartment and a plurality of adjustable straps. The method further includes attaching the cooler to a boat using the adjustable straps and placing the stowage compartment outside the boat such that the stowage compartment is adjacent a hull of the boat. The method further includes adjusting a height of the stowage compartment relative to the boat, which involves adjusting lengths of the adjustable straps.

SKIDDING SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF OPERATING THE SKIDDING SYSTEM

A skidding system for skidding a heavy load over a deck of a vessel includes a hydraulic cylinder cooperates with a skid shoe and the load to be displaced with respect to a skid rail along a line of displacement. The hydraulic cylinder extends to displace the load when the skid shoe is locked with respect to the skid rail. A skid shoe displacement device moves the shoe with respect to the rail in the same direction along the line of displacement when the shoe is unlocked from the rail. A first releasable coupling couples a piston rod to the load. A second releasable couples a cylinder body to the skid shoe. A third releasable coupling couples the cylinder body to the load to be displaced with respect to the skid rail along the line of displacement, while a fourth couples the piston rod to the skid shoe.

Modular System for Transporting Wind Turbine Blades
20170211548 · 2017-07-27 ·

A modular system for transporting wind turbine blades in at least two different spatial arrangements comprising two or more root end transport frames having a height H for supporting the root end, wherein H<D (D=bolt circle diameter), and two or more first tip end transport frames having a height H1 for supporting the blade towards the tip end, each first tip end transport frame has a base frame and a support bracket provided on top of the base frame, wherein each first tip end transport frame is stackable on top of a root end transport frame and vice versa, so the system is operable to stack successive blades in an alternating root end to tip end arrangement. The first tip end transport frame is replaceable with a second end transport frame that increase the inter-blade spacing, or with a tip end or a root end distance piece.

Gas Supply Refueling Facility

A gas supply marine vessel and a refueling facility are described. The gas supply marine vessel includes a hull with an upper deck having an elongated cargo cavity formed therein. Gas interface modules are disposed in the cavity and extend between hull sides, each module having a plurality of fuel vessel docking stations. A plurality of stacked fuel container assemblies are fluidically coupled to the docking stations. A gantry, is movable along the length of the cavity, straddles the cargo cavity between hull sides. An articulating crane is mounted on the gantry and it utilized to move fuel container assemblies to a fuel container depression formed in the deck of a floating refueling facility. The floating refueling facility includes a concave side to facilitate mooring adjacent a shoreline, the concave side forming angled extensions at corners of the deck with a linkspan extending from each of the angled extensions.

ENTERTAINMENT UNIT MOUNTING SYSTEM

The present invention broadly relates to a clamping system adapted to releasably couple an entertainment unit accessory. In an embodiment, the present invention is adapted to be mounted to a mounting surface, such as deck or under the deck of a boat.
