Systems and methods for moving containers between vehicles and platforms

A system is configured to move a group of containers including at least five containers simultaneously between a vehicle and a platform. The system includes a container support frame configured to support the group of containers, at least one hoist, and a conveyor. The at least one hoist is configured to raise and lower the container support frame and the containers when the containers are secured to the container support frame. The conveyor is configured to move the container support frame and the containers between the vehicle and the platform.

COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A DELIVERY SERVICE OF OBJECTS

A computerized delivery service provision method, that includes providing vehicles with bays, then selecting vehicles for assignment to a resource. The selecting of a vehicle to a resource includes determining resource candidate vehicles from among the vehicles that meet a vehicle candidacy criterion, then calculating hypothetical path routes, each including a path bay and a delivery bay that are associated with the candidate vehicles, thereby obtaining hypothetical path routes for the candidate vehicles. Then, determining a best path route from among the hypothetical path routes and selecting a vehicle from the candidate vehicles that is associated with the best path route, wherein the selected vehicle will pass through the path bay terminating at the delivery bay of the best path route, for provisioning of the delivery service between the selected vehicle and the resource, and wherein the best path route involves calculated starvation time, associated with the resource, which, compared to starvation times of any other hypothetical path routes associated with the resource, meets a starvation criterion.

Device and method for launching and recovering an unmanned underwater vehicle

Devices and methods for recovering an unmanned underwater vehicle. The device includes a gantry mounted on a recovery vehicle, a frame, and a shaft extending between the gantry and the frame and configured to vertically move the frame relative to the gantry. Attached to the frame are a plurality of rotatable arms movable between an opened position and a closed position. A first end of each arm is attached to the frame at a pivot. A flexible strap extends between each of the second ends of the arm and the frame. As the arms are moved to the closed position around the unmanned underwater vehicle, the straps will support the unmanned underwater vehicle.

A gas supply marine vessel and a refueling facility are described. The gas supply marine vessel includes a hull with an upper deck having an elongated cargo cavity formed therein. Gas interface modules are disposed in the cavity and extend between hull sides, each module having a plurality of fuel vessel docking stations. A plurality of stacked fuel container assemblies are fluidically coupled to the docking stations. A gantry, is movable along the length of the cavity, straddles the cargo cavity between hull sides. An articulating crane is mounted on the gantry and it utilized to move fuel container assemblies to a fuel container depression formed in the deck of a floating refueling facility. The floating refueling facility includes a concave side to facilitate mooring adjacent a shoreline, the concave side forming angled extensions at corners of the deck with a linkspan extending from each of the angled extensions.
