Gangway for transferring personnel and equipment from a first device to a second device
A gangway for transferring personnel and equipment from a first device to a second device which are able to move relative to each other. The gangway includes gangway sections which are telescopically movable relative to each other, a first end section of the gangway being mounted on the first device, a second end section of the gangway being movable and mountable to the second device. The first end section of the gangway, in a region thereof, is mounted in a support frame suspended within a gyro arrangement maintaining the gangway in a substantially horizontal plane. The gyro arrangement is located on a turning plate foundation mounted on the first device and the second end section of the gangway is provided with connector means for interconnection with the second device.
Vessel and boom construction
A vessel including a boom construction, especially a gangway construction, for transferring persons and/or cargo from said vessel to an offshore object or vice versa. The boom construction includes an elongated mast structure extending in a direction substantially upwards from a deck of said vessel. Said mast structure is pivotally mounted with respect to a hull of the vessel in a manner such as to be pivotable with respect to said hull about a single pivot axis only. The boom construction further includes a boom, especially a gangway, which is connected to the mast structure and which extends from the mast structure in a substantially sideward direction. Furthermore, the boom construction includes at least one actuator for pivoting the mast structure such as to compensate for at least a part of a roll movement of the hull of the vessel.
BULWARK TERRACE WITH INTEGRATED DOOR
A bulwark terrace with integrated door is provided; the bulwark terrace may be a portion of a bulwark on a ship or yacht that is hinged so as to be able to fold outwards and downwards and be flush with the deck after doing so, thereby extending the deck surface. The bulwark terrace may also include a door that may open independently of the bulwark terrace to allow boarding of the yacht or ship through the bulwark without deploying the bulwark terrace.
Vessel with moving stern swim platform supporting steps sliding over fixed stern steps
A vessel or boat includes a hull having a stern at which there is a stern swim platform having at least one moving part capable of moving along and close to a portion of the stern, the moving part being capable of adopting at least a first working position in which it is out of the water on which the boat floats and a second working position in which the moving part is lowered with respect to the hull into the water, steps being provided at the stern. At least part of the steps is of one piece with the moving part of the stern swim platform and moves therewith over fixed steps provided within the stern, the movement of the steps taking place in a guided way, the moving steps forming an elongatable swim ladder with the fixed steps.
POCKET STYLE FOLDING BOAT LADDER ASSEMBLY
A boat with a deck has a sidewall or railing at the periphery of the deck, a door opening in the sidewall with a hinged door, and a pocket ladder assembly adjacent the door opening. The pocket ladder assembly including a stowing enclosure and an access port on one side of the stowing enclosure facing the door opening. A collapsible ladder when in an upright compacted stowed configuration is receivable and stowable in the stowing enclosure. The ladder in the upright stowing configuration is movable laterally out of the stowing enclosure into a door opening seating position when the door is in an open position. The collapsible ladder then rotatable from the upright stowing configuration to an intermediate configuration. The ladder then further convertible from the intermediate configuration to a fully deployed configuration, where the ladder extends outwardly and downwardly from the boat deck.
Ramp assembly systems and methods of use
According to one aspect, a vessel ramp assembly system includes a ramp assembly configured to assist with ingress and egress of an individual with respect to the vessel, a deployment system configured to move the ramp assembly between a stowed position with respect to the vessel and a deployed position with respect to the vessel, and a positioning system configured to move the ramp assembly to move a first end of the ramp assembly with respect to a deck of the vessel and provide a second end of the ramp assembly at an appropriate position where the individual may use the ramp assembly for the ingress and egress with respect to the vessel.
Boat having a movable stern hatch with a submersible stern platform
A boat includes a hull provided with a rear stern hatch located in correspondence with an internal stern compartment of the hull and suitable for opening and closing in correspondence with an aperture of the compartment. The hatch having a body with opposed sides located in correspondence with side walls of the compartment and upper edge and lower edge. The hull having a stern platform that is movable and submersible. The hatch is not provided with any direct connections to the hull, but it is connected to the stern platform to reach, upon opening, a position submersed in the water where the boat is located in the moment when the platform submerges into the water.
