BULWARK TERRACE WITH INTEGRATED DOOR
A bulwark terrace with integrated door is provided; the bulwark terrace may be a portion of a bulwark on a ship or yacht that is hinged so as to be able to fold outwards and downwards and be flush with the deck after doing so, thereby extending the deck surface. The bulwark terrace may also include a door that may open independently of the bulwark terrace to allow boarding of the yacht or ship through the bulwark without deploying the bulwark terrace.
Universal Paddle Board Step and Receiver
A portable, lightweight, removable step device mounted to a paddle board to assist animals onto the board. The device is attached to a paddle board and can be placed on a board of any size or shape. The device may be secured without requiring any alteration to the paddle board or it may be affixed with more permanent means. Additionally, the device may pivot, allowing the paddler to adjust the position of the step device to accommodate the entry angle of the approaching animal and may fold up and out of the water to reduce water resistance.
Swim platform assemblies for boats
A modular swim platform assembly is for a boat. The assembly has a deck that is movable relative to the boat into and between a retracted position and an extended position, wherein the deck is located closer to the boat in the retracted position than the extended position. The deck has a base platform and a submersible platform, the submersible platform being movable out of the extended position while the base platform remains in the extended position, and particularly wherein the submersible platform is movable out of the extended position to a deployed position that is below the base platform.
Boat Safety System
A safety system for a boat, watercraft or other vehicle includes a kill switch connected to the motor for preventing the motor from running under dangerous circumstances. The system includes at least one proximity sensor operatively connected to the kill switch, so that the motor only runs when the proximity sensor detects a person properly positioned at the captain's console. Other sensors may form an array to communicate with the kill switch, either hard-wired together or wirelessly, upon detection of dangerous situations, including proximity sensors to detect if a swimmer is near the propeller or if the captain is not in position at the helm, gate sensors to detect when gates on the boat are in an open position, and ladder sensors to detect when a ladder is in a down position. The system may also include a plurality of cameras around the periphery of the watercraft for monitoring purposes.
Outboard motor mount and side-mount accessory adapter
An outboard motor mount and side-mount accessory adapter to mount an outboard motor and an accessory to the transom of a boat wherein the outboard motor mount includes a transom mounting plate to secure the outboard motor mount to the transom and an adapter mounting plate extending outwardly from the transom mounting plate and wherein the side-mount accessory adapter includes a proximal side-mount adapter mounting plate coupled to the adapter mounting plate and a distal accessory mounting plate to support the accessory thereon.
Portable boat ladder
The portable telescoping boat ladder is easily stored, installed, and used. The ladder comprises a ladder assembly mounted to a base assembly. The ladder assembly comprises telescoping ladder sections able to be collapsed into a stored position with the rungs adjacent each other. The base assembly comprises a platform, a means for engagement with a boat hand rail, and a means for providing a maximum angle at which the ladder assembly may be deployed.
Watercraft for leisure use
An object is to provide a technique related to a small watercraft that can prevent water from entering an inboard section through air intake ports. A small watercraft for leisure use is configured to obtain thrust by driving a propeller with an engine serving as a power source and includes an air intake port configured to introduce air into an engine room in an inboard section from the outside, and a radar arm configured to support a radar. The air intake port is positioned on the inner side with respect to the radar arm.
ENHANCED STRENGTH SPREADER STEP FOR USE WITH ROPE LADDERS
This invention relates to a spreader step for a rope ladder comprising a metal scaffold having three types of overlapping elements. There are two parallel elongate elements, two U-shaped elements, the ends of which are inserted into the ends of the parallel elongate elements, and four strengthening elements that are disposed over the other two types of elements at the site of overlap.
Buoy for marine surveys
Buoy for marine surveys. At least some of the illustrated embodiments are a buoy including an elongated main body and a mast system coupled to the elongated main body. The mast system includes: a forward mast; an aft mast; a spanning portion coupled between a distal end of the forward mast and a distal end of the aft mast; and an aperture defined at least in part by the main body, forward mast, aft mast, and spanning portion. The buoy is configured to float in water such that the water level intersects the forward mast and aft mast, the elongated body is submerged, and the spanning portion resides above the water level.
Vessel Having a Retractable Cursor Frame Assembly
This invention relates to a vessel having an extendable and retractable cursor frame assembly for deploying other vessels into a body of water. The retractable cursor frame assembly on the main vessel may be retracted and secured on a module of the main vessel as the main vessel is in transit. When another vessel is to be deployed into the body of water from the main vessel, the cursor frame assembly is then extended into the body of water to facilitate the launch of the other vessel.
