ELEVATOR SYSTEM ON A SUBSEA DEVICE FOR TRANSFER OF SUBSEA PAYLOAD
A system, apparatus, and method for transferring a subsea payload (such as seismic nodes) at a subsea position by using an elevator system located on a subsea basket. A plurality of seismic nodes may be located on a plurality of support slides, trays, or other node holders at different levels within the basket. The elevator system is configured to move the seismic nodes between different heights within the basket for external transfer from one or more vertical positions. During transfer operations between a subsea basket and an underwater vehicle (e.g., ROV), the desired level of seismic nodes may be positioned to the desired vertical position within the basket and transferred to the ROV by various transfer mechanisms, such as an extendable stinger or chain drive. Multiple levels of seismic nodes (or node holders) may be transferred between the basket and ROV during a single subsea docking.

Marine transfer apparatus and method of using the same
Marine transfer apparatus for transferring a load (12) between a vessel (20) and an offshore structure (1). A coupling part (4) is mounted to an elevated mounting point. A climbing part (8) comprising a climbing line (8a) and a locking member (10) fixed to one end of the climbing line (8a) is provided. The climbing line (8a) is feedable through the coupling part (4) until the locking member (10) locks against the coupling part (4) for forming a loadbearing connection. A drag line (5) is feedably connected to the coupling part (4) and includes a fastener (7) for attaching the climbing line (8a) for dragging it through the coupling part (4).
ADAPTIVE TENSION COMPENSATOR SYSTEM FOR OFFSHORE CHARGING OPERATIONS BETWEEN A VESSEL AND AN OFFSHORE POWER STATION
The present invention provides for an adaptive tension compensator system for offshore charging of a vessel via an umbilical cable of a motor driven reeling drum provided at a power station. The compensator system comprises a motor hub member (102), mountable to a motor shaft (20) and configured to transmit rotary motion between a motor (18) and the reeling drum (16) along a first rotational axis (104); a reel hub member (106), mountable to the reeling drum, arranged coaxial with said motor hub member and configured to transmit rotary motion between the reeling drum and the motor, and a coupling mechanism (108), operably coupled between said reel hub member and said motor hub member, adapted to transmit rotary motion between said reel hub member and said motor hub member when the motor is in a first mode, and adapted to provide a biased rotational motion of said reel hub member about said first rotational axis between a first angular position (110) and a second angular position (112) relative to said motor hub member, when the motor is in a second mode.
A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSFER OF A SUSPENDED LOAD BETWEEN AN OFFSHORE WIND TURBINE AND A FLOATING VESSEL
A method and a system (1) for controlling transfer of a suspended load (2) between an offshore wind turbine (3) and a floating vessel (4) are disclosed. Movements, relative to the floating vessel (4), of a load (2) suspended in a hoisting mechanism (6, 15) and/or of a hooking part (9) of the hoisting mechanism (6, 15), are detected. A position and/or inclination of a landing platform (8) arranged on the floating vessel (4) is adjusted, based on the detected movements, in order to compensate for relative movements between the floating vessel (4) and the suspended load (2) and/or the hooking part (9), thereby synchronizing movements of the landing platform (4) to movements of the suspended load (2) and/or the hooking part (9), while moving the suspended load (2) and/or the hooking part (9) towards the adjustable landing platform (8).
