BOAT WITH A WATER MAT
20210086885 · 2021-03-25 ·

A water mat for a boat and a boat. The boat may be a pontoon boat. The water mat may include a cut-out. The cut-out may be formed in a forward side of the water mat, with the forward side of the water mat is connected to the stern of the boat such that the outboard motor is positioned in the cut-out of the water mat. A flexible connecting sheet, that is configured to connect the water mat with the boat, may be attached to a connection side of the water mat and extend along the connection side of the water mat.

WATERCRAFT SWIM PLATFORM WITH DEPLOYABLE STEPS

Boats can include a swim platform with an integrated system of steps that can be selectively deployed and retracted. Such platforms can be attached to a transom of a boat or can be fabricated as an extended portion of the boat's hull. In another embodiment, deployable steps can be integrated with a boat's hull as a side-entry door. In order to reconfigure the step system into a deployed configuration, a linkage is actuated that causes the step system to unfold, forming steps (or a seating configuration) at least partially below the water line. Since the steps can be deployed below the water line, a swimmer can more easily get on board the boat.

CRAFT WITH DEVICE FOR MOVEMENT OF A STERN PLATFORM PROVIDED WITH INTEGRATED STEPS

Craft including hull having stern with mobile platform having first work position where it is extracted from water, and second work position where it is immersed in water, device for platform movement having a pantograph, a structure with an articulated quadrilateral connected to the mobile platform, said movement and a unit for actuating movement of this structure, which unit allows moving the platform from the first to second work position and vice versa. The structure with articulated quadrilateral folded back onto hull when platform is in first position, and extended when platform is in second position. The movement device includes a body distinct from hull. The structure with articulated quadrilateral integral with, but mobile relative to body. The body secured on hull stern and having at least one fixed step, at least one second step inside the structure with articulated quadrilateral, which step moveable and foldable back with the structure.

WALK-ON AFT DECK AND EXTENDABLE SWIM PLATFORM SYSTEM AND METHOD
20200385089 · 2020-12-10 ·

A system, apparatus and method for providing a walk-on aft deck for a boat, and for providing an extendable swim platform. The walk-on aft deck includes an extended support platform, that may include gunwales, extending from the boat transom between engines of the boat, and extends beyond an aftermost surface of the engines in order to protect the engines from impact. The extendable swim platform extends afterward from the extended support platform, is actuated and retractable, does not act as a running surface when the boat moves forward, but acts as a planing surface when the boat moves in reverse allowing high reverse speeds. The extendable swim platform includes angled anti-slap surfaces underneath. The invention allows users to fish or walk afterward between and beyond the engines; allows greater reverse speeds; and allows users to enter and exit the after swim platform well away from the engine propellers.

Multi hull pontoon boat aft cockpit extension

A cockpit extension extends aft between port and starboard outboard engines mounted on a tri-pontoon boat transom for increasing the usable afterdeck area of the boat. The cockpit extension includes a topside deck that can be accessed from the afterdeck of the boat and an under-face beneath the topside deck that can be above or below the water-line of the boat. A lower surface of the under-face can be configured to improve the backing down characteristics of the boat.

Inflatable swim platform for water sports

A swim platform for attachment to a boat includes a rearwardly tapered inflatable body including a top surface capable of supporting a standing person, an outer perimeter including a forward wall, an aft wall, and a port sidewall and a starboard sidewall extending between the forward wall and aft wall. The forward wall is positionable adjacent the transom. The forward wall is longer than the aft wall and is configured not to extend laterally beyond the starboard and port sides at the transom. The swim platform may be left in the water while the boat is moving and is designed not to interfere with the boat's wake.

Expansion deck system for vessels
10843771 · 2020-11-24 ·

An expansion deck system for vessels includes an elongated deck body that is pivotally secured to a vessel by a plurality of hinges. The deck body transitions between a folded position that does not affect the overall width of the vessel, and an expanded position that extends outward from the side of the vessel. A plurality of triangular-shaped braces is removably secured to the bottom surface of the deck body. The braces including a first section that extends along an entire width of the deck body and a second section that engages a pontoon of the vessel. An electromechanical bracing unit is positioned along the bottom surface of the vessel and includes a linear actuator that moves an elongated rod between an extended and retracted position, and A power lifting unit transitions the deck body between the folded and extended positions.

Watercraft
