This invention relates to a generally molded fiberglass apparatus that serves a multipurpose function for inflatable boats. The apparatus attaches to the bow of the boat and includes a forward passenger seat with a backrest and optionally servers to provide a step for embarking or disembarking the boat at the bow, and location for affixing one or more marine navigational or safety devices or accessories. The invention is affixed to the inner bow section of the passenger area to an inflatable tubular member craft by a permanent or semi-permanent means including, but not limited to clamps, adhesives, bolts, clips, snaps, ties, ratchets, or a combination thereof. The apparatus is shaped to conform to the topside bow curvature of the inflatable boat and to the adjacent concave curvature on the substantially vertical section within the passenger area at the bow of the inflatable boat, utilizing the craft's structure as the seated area.

The hull and deck join together by flexing the hull to compensate for opposing draft angles of the hull and deck at the side entry. The deck has a floor and at least one other interior component, and terminates in a deck trim flange. The hull has at least two hollow pontoons and at least two side rails that extend from an outer edge of the pontoons, and the hull terminates in a hull trim flange. When assembled, the hull trim flange operatively engages beneath the deck trim flange to form a unified pontoon boat having a space between the deck and hull and wherein the side rails are integrated as structural parts of the interior component.

An extendable hull system movable between a mono-hull to a multi-hull configuration is provided so as to take advantage of both types of hull designs depending on the boating conditions. The extendable hull system provides a center hull portion and two side hull portions, each with separate planing surfaces in an expanded multi-hull configuration, and providing a shared planing surface in the contracted mono-hull configuration. The extendable hull system provides a pivotably connected railing system along a periphery of the side hull portions for moving to a deployed configuration providing additional walking surface. The extendable hull system provides a retractable awning movable between positions for covering the mono-hull and the multi-hull configuration.

An interference between the first boss and the first interference surface and the second boss and the second interference surface tends to limit the rotation of the rotating member with respect to the second plate. The swivel stop may further comprise a rail wherein the second plate is configured to translate along the rail.

The casing preferably conforms substantially to the shape of the insert and is designed to permit the insert to be inserted into and/or removed from the casing. The cushion additionally includes a fastener coupled to the casing for use in securing the casing to the boat seat.
