Windscreen for boats

A boat having a windscreen attached to the boat without the use of tools. The boat has a T-top including a canopy supported in an elevated position by an upright support fixed to the boat. A rigid boat windscreen having a plurality of clamps is mounted to the rigid boat windscreen and also mounted to the upright support. The clamps are mounted to the support manually without the use of tools and the clamps each include a mount secured to the rigid screen and a C-shaped, flexible portion connected to the mount and positioned about the support.

A removable floorboard lines a midship portion of the hull between a bow portion and a stern portion, the floorboard including a seat assembly and configured to be releasably retained by a pair of outboard walls permanently fixed at port and starboard sides of the cockpit. The stern portion of the hull is permanently folded in a V-shaped (AKA swallowtail) configuration to form a closed transom of the kayak. The bow, stern, and midship portions are configured as a tri-fold, such that the bow portion and the stern portion of the kayak are foldable toward each other to overlap the midship portion of the hull when collapsed.

A seating system for marine vessels including a seat back, a seat cushion, and a seat substructure. The seat substructure is disposed beneath and supports the seat cushion. The seat substructure includes bi-lateral curved tracks and the seat back is slidingly engaged with each of the bi-lateral curved tracks. A seat arm is attached to either side of said seat back, extending through said seat cushion and slidingly attached to a respective bi-lateral curved track. A friction-defeating traveler track can be attached to the seat arm and engages the track. The seat back is readily moveable along the bi-lateral curved tracks between at least a first position and a second position along said track. The seat can be translated along the tracks between at least the two positions with one hand without the need to release or lock any mechanism.
