Apparatus featuring a toilet base having a wall forming a chamber for receiving waste, the wall having a toilet base coupling portion; a pump/motor assembly having a pump inlet configured to receive the waste pumped from the chamber, the pump inlet having a pump inlet coupling portion arranged inside the toilet base coupling portion when the pump/motor assembly and the toilet base are coupled together; and a quick release coupling mechanism having a clip receiving portion and a clip configured to slide within the clip receiving portion from a disengage position to an engage position to engage the pump inlet coupling portion and couple the toilet base and the pump/motor assembly together, and also configured to slide from the engage position to the disengage position to disengage the pump inlet coupling portion and decouple the pump/motor assembly from the toilet base.

An additive sub-system for a wastewater management system of a vehicle including at least one holding tank and a toilet has a controller, at least one additive dispenser and a pump. The at least one additive dispenser is in fluid communication with the at least one holding tank or the toilet. The pump is associated with each additive dispenser of the at least one additive dispensers. Each pump is controlled by the controller to dispense an additive from the at least one additive dispenser to the at least one holding tank or the toilet.

An additive sub-system for a wastewater management system of a vehicle including at least one holding tank and a toilet has a controller, at least one additive dispenser and a pump. The at least one additive dispenser is in fluid communication with the at least one holding tank or the toilet. The pump is associated with each additive dispenser of the at least one additive dispensers. Each pump is controlled by the controller to dispense an additive from the at least one additive dispenser to the at least one holding tank or the toilet.

A toilet sub-system of a wastewater management vehicle includes a toilet and a housing. The housing is associated with the toilet and includes a macerator pumping arrangement having a macerator and a pump. The macerator includes a plurality of macerating knives. The pump is an air pump providing positive pressure in a macerator chamber to pump waste from the macerator chamber. The sub-system further includes at least one motor for driving the pumps and the macerator. The macerator pumping arrangement is operative in a macerating mode and a pumping mode, such that in the macerating mode the first motor first drives the macerating knives to macerate the waste and subsequently in the pumping mode the waste is pumped out of the macerating chamber by positive pressure.

A toilet sub-system of a wastewater management vehicle includes a toilet and a housing. The housing is associated with the toilet and includes a macerator pumping arrangement having a macerator and a pump. The macerator includes a plurality of macerating knives. The pump is an air pump providing positive pressure in a macerator chamber to pump waste from the macerator chamber. The sub-system further includes at least one motor for driving the pumps and the macerator. The macerator pumping arrangement is operative in a macerating mode and a pumping mode, such that in the macerating mode the first motor first drives the macerating knives to macerate the waste and subsequently in the pumping mode the waste is pumped out of the macerating chamber by positive pressure.

An apparatus for delivering wastewater from a recreational vehicle to a drain includes a housing having an outer wall and an inner wall generally perpendicular or slightly angled to the outer wall. The housing and the inner wall define an inlet chamber above the inner wall and a further chamber below the inner wall. The housing further includes an outlet downwardly extending from the inlet chamber.

A bathroom for two cabins of a ship is provided, the bathroom including three spaces and two separate entrances for access to the bathroom from the two cabins. The shower room includes a movable wall, which is movable between two positions: (i) a first position in which the movable wall forms a separation wall between the first room and the shower room and allows access to the shower room from the second room, and (ii) a second position in which the movable wall forms a separation wall between the second room and the shower room and allows access to the shower room from the first room.

A bathroom for two cabins of a ship is provided, the bathroom including three spaces and two separate entrances for access to the bathroom from the two cabins. The three spaces include a first room, a second room, and a shower room that is accessible from the first room and from the second room. The shower room includes a movable wall, which is movable between two positions: (i) a first position in which the movable wall forms a separation wall between the first room and the shower room and allows access to the shower room from the second room, and (ii) a second position in which the movable wall forms a separation wall between the second room and the shower room and allows access to the shower room from the first room.

A lavatory unit for a vehicle is provided for washing feet. A toilet seat is put in the use position, a lid is put in the open position, the lid and a water drainage plate coupled by an engage/disengage mechanism are disengaged, and the water drainage plate is rotated to the placed position. With pressure on the water drainage plate, water is discharged from a faucet for a predetermined time by a water control unit, and the foot is washed on the water drainage plate. The water is drained to the inside of a toilet body through a discharge port. Once the foot is washed, the water on the upper surface of the water drainage plate is wiped, the water drainage plate is rotated from the placed position to the open position of the lid, or the lid is rotated to the closed position.
