Standup paddleboard with viewport

The present disclosure is directed to a personal watercraft, such as a standup paddleboard, provided with a viewing window that allows the user to view the underwater environment. The viewing window may be watertight and constructed from at least two durable, transparent panels. The area between panels may be sealed from air and water infiltration. A user may add waterproof lights to the bottom of the standup paddleboard in order to allow viewing of the underwater marine environment at night.

EDGE RAILS IN A SURFBOARD
20190193819 · 2019-06-27 ·

A surfboard having laterally opposed pairs of axial or lengthwise grooves with the pair forming opposed rails of greater stiffness and reduced mass. At least one of the grooves of each pair is at a board edge extremity and the other groove is nearby, preferably near or on the lower side of the surfboard. The grooves may be laid up with epoxy or fiberglass.

MODULARIZED SURFING APPARATUS
20190168851 · 2019-06-06 ·

The present disclosure provides a modularized surfing apparatus. The modularized surfing apparatus includes: a surfboard, a battery module configured to store and output electric energy, and a propelling module configured to supply a propelling force; wherein the battery module and the propelling module are respectively detachably connected to the surfboard, and the battery module is electrically connected to the propelling module. In the present disclosure, when a fault occurs, only the battery module or the propelling module needs to be disassembled and repaired, and there is no need to repair the large-sized surfboard, which greatly facilitates transportation and repair. Meanwhile, during manufacture and installation, the manufacture and installation efficiency is also improved.

BOARD-TYPE WATERCRAFT
20190144086 · 2019-05-16 ·

A board-type watercraft is adapted for selective disassembly into a plurality of separate sections for ease of transport and storage. Preferably, a selection of differently configured nose and tail sections can be releasably connected to a universal middle section to create a wide variety of distinctive board styles. With the watercraft in its assembled state, adjacent sections are releasably secured together using compressive-type fastening elements, such as spring-biased latch mechanisms. Pairs of fastening elements are preferably arranged on the top and bottom surfaces of the board in substantial vertical alignment to limit torque between sections and thereby ensure adequate stiffness through each joint. In its disassembled state, the sections can be stacked into a highly compact configuration suitable for packaging within a container that is compliant with maximum size standards for conventional ground courier services.

Standup paddle outrigger watercraft

A standup paddleboard outrigger includes a long, narrow, lightweight displacement hull and a pair of outrigger pontoons mounted to a bridge. The two parts disengage for easy storage and transport. The hull has a platform to stand on. Paddling with a long handled paddle propels the craft through the water. The outriggers provide lateral stability/support and actuate the rudder in order to make turns. When a person stands on the platform and shifts body weight, the rudder will rotate to the right and the craft will turn to the right. The more weight that is shifted, the greater the turning action. The responsiveness to the shift of body weight can be adjustable for personal preference either firmer or more flexible, as is the turning response of the rudder fine or coarse turning.

A hydrofoil watercraft, in particular, a hydrofoil board is described herein. The hydrofoil board may comprise one or more of a body, a hydrofoil assembly, and/or other components. The body may have one or more of a deck surface configured to support a rider, a bottom surface opposite the deck surface, and/or other surfaces and/or features. The body may comprise a fore portion having a planing surface forming part of the bottom surface. The body may have an aft portion having an aft bottom surface forming part of the bottom surface. The fore portion may be toward a front end of the board. The aft portion may be toward a rear end of the board. An aft cross-sectional thickness between the deck surface and the aft bottom surface may be less than a fore cross-sectional thickness between the deck surface and the planing surface.

Volume element
