The present invention provides a board mountable system for filming underwater video. The inventive board mountable system can be mounted to the underside of water vehicles for incorporating a camera for filming from an underwater perspective. The inventive board mountable system is shaped to minimize drag as a result of the mounted camera or camera system. Embodiments of the inventive system includes a fin shaped housing for holding a camera or camera system. In certain embodiments, the fin is removably attached to the water vehicle, such as a surf board, where the fin housing can be swapped with other fins being used with the water vehicle for controlling the direction of a watersports board in motion. These embodiments of the inventive system further include a connection means for connecting the fin to the underside of a water vessel.

This invention is directed toward a fin box capable of accepting either a Futures or an FCS fin without the need for any additional products being added to either the fins or the fin box. The box has an internally-adjustable wedge that can force the bottom of a fin into an indent, thereby giving it a cant or angle. The box also has channels for both FCS and Futures fins, such that a user can easily exchange either brand of fin without adding or subtracting items from the fins or fin boxes.

A clamp assembly for connecting a rudder to an aquatic device having a body with a first end, a second end, a top and a bottom. A clamp having a screw connected to a pivot pin disposed within a clamp head is removably connected to the top of the body for selectively applying a clamping force on the body. The clamp handle in some bodies tapering to an end to allow placement within a retaining slot of a fin box.

Universal Foil Mounting System with Quick Connect & Disconnect
20200307742 · 2020-10-01 ·

A universal, quick release foil mounting system is disclosed. The device is comprised of three mam parts: a first part being a mount plate that is fixedly connected to existing kite surfing, windsurfing and standup paddle boarding foils by means of fasteners; a second part being a base plate that is fixedly secured to the mast track of existing kite surfing, standup paddle hoarding (SUP) and windsurfing boardsalso affixed by means of fasteners; a third part being a quick disconnect system on said mount plate or base plate comprised of, but not limited to catch tabs, locking pins and slide locks etc. The mount plate is configured to receive the base plate and temporarily join the foil mast to the board. An object of the invention is to allow any foil having standard 165 mm90 mm (6.53.5) hole mounts (as well as other dimensions) to be quickly installed or removed from a board.
