LEASH OR CORD LIFT SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to an improved surfboard or paddleboard leash or other cord system that raises the leash line away from the board or surface in order to prevent it from interfering with the user's freedom of movement.
LEASH
A leash assembly (110) for watercraft users with an elongate composite horn (112) and extended base (128) providing a superior stand-off distance for the leash cord. In addition, an over-braided sheathed cord (114) provides substantial improvements in use with respect to elongation, strength and tangling. The leash assembly (110) may also feature a low hydrodynamic drag rail saver, non-slip arrangement for the cuff (116) and a unique pull tab (119) release for the cuff (116).
SURFBOARD LEASH
A surfboard leash, including a cord having a first durometer hardness, a connector having a second durometer hardness molded over an end of the cord, and a flex ring having a third durometer hardness positioned a least partially around the cord and at least partially between the cord and the connector, wherein the third shore durometer is less than first shore durometer and the second shore durometer.

A surfboard leash, including a cord having a first durometer hardness, a connector having a second durometer hardness molded over an end of the cord, and a flex ring having a third durometer hardness positioned a least partially around the cord and at least partially between the cord and the connector, wherein the third shore durometer is less than first shore durometer and the second shore durometer.
Swivel lock quick release device
The swivel lock quick release device is adapted to selectively attach a user to a sports equipment. The sports equipment may be watersports equipment, such as a surfboard, a kite surfing apparatus, a stand-up paddle board, sailing equipment, a wake board, etc., or land sports equipment, such as fishing, camping, climbing, animal collars or leashes, tactical rifle apparatus, and hunting equipment. The swivel lock quick release device can have a pull release and a protrusion, the pull release and the protrusion being adapted to be selectively engaged in a locked position is provided. A slide handle, a portion of the pull release, is adapted to be selectively moved in a coaxial direction by the user to disengage the pull release and the protrusion. The pull release can also be adapted to rotate or swivel around the protrusion.
PULLING ROPE TYPE FAST RELEASING STURCTURE
A pulling rope type fast releasing structure, comprising: a leg fastening strap, being a short strap, and having both ends provided with a Velcro strap, to circle to form into a ring body; a fastening seat, disposed on the leg fastening strap; a fast connector, with its one end disposed in the fastening seat; and a pulling rope, connected to one other end of the fast connector. Wherein, the fast connector is provided with a pressing piece and a sleeve connection piece being assembled and detachable to each other; a ring of fastening slot is disposed in a connection port in front of the sleeve connection piece; a plurality of steel beads and bead holes are disposed on the pressing piece, and being movably fastened to the sleeve connection piece; and at least an elastic press key, disposed on the pressing piece.
LEASH ASSEMBLY FOR A SPORTS BOARD
Cuff assemblies for sports board leashes, where the cuff assembly includes a central section that having a precurved molded insert that is configured to connect to a cord of the sports board leash, a first wing attached to a first side of the central section, and a second wing attached to a second side of the central section. The maximum width of the central section of the cuff assembly is greater than the maximum width of either of the first wing or second wing, and the first wing and second wing are configured to overlap and fasten to each other in order to secure the cuff assembly around a person's limb portion.
Integrated water sports apparel and water sports accessories
The disclosure relates to integration of water sports apparel with leashes and other water sports accessories. For example, a wetsuit can be adapted for integration with a leash to reduce entanglement of the leash with a user's feet and eliminate the need to adjust the orientation of the leash on the user during a water sports session.
Surf leash tourniquet device and related methods
Generally disclosed is a surf leash with a tourniquet device that allows the cord of the surf leash to be convertible into a tourniquet and related methods of use.
Reinforced surf leash
A surfboard leash apparatus is disclosed. The surf leash apparatus includes a cuff for attaching to a limb of a surfer, the cuff having an inner surface, the inner surface of the cuff having a pattern of compressible grips disposed thereon. The surf leash further includes an attachment mechanism for attaching to a surfboard, and a leash cord connected between the cuff and the attachment mechanism. The leash cord includes an elastic fiber rope core having a predetermined amount of stretch, and an extruded thermoplastic urethane cord surrounding the elastic fiber rope core. The extruded thermoplastic urethane cord has an elasticity corresponding to the predetermined amount of stretch of the elastic fiber rope.
