An apparatus for mounting an item on a horizontal rail is disclosed. The apparatus may include a bracket having a hanger portion, a support portion, an elongated body extending from the hanger portion to the support portion, and a retaining strap that runs from the hanger portion to the support portion. Also disclosed is a system for mounting an item on a horizontal rail. The system may include a bracket having a hanger portion, a support portion, an elongated body extending from the hanger portion to the support portion, a retaining strap, and the item.
Surfboard Hanger
This paper is directed to a system for the storage and display of large objects, such as surfboards. The system disclosed herein holds a surfboard vertically via the leash plug. The system may use hook on a hanger to hold a leash attached to the leash plug. A variant of the system uses a bumper, either above or below the hook, to hold help hold the surfboard in place. An additional variant of the system may use a hook directly attached to the leash plug.

KAYAK AND OTHER WATERCRAFT TYPE STORAGE SYSTEM
A watercraft storage system for storing and securing one or more watercraft and other equipment used in conjunction with the watercraft. Securing of the watercraft in a storage location of the watercraft storage system, and the other equipment in a compartment associated with the storage location, is achieved, at least in part, by a moveable, e.g., rotational, arm structure associated with the storage location being in a locked position and the size of at least one dimension of the watercraft exceeding the size of a corresponding dimension of the storage location including the moveable arm structure.
SURFBOARD BAG
A surfboard bag for improving transportation of a surfboard with varying modes of transportation. The surfboard bag includes one or more straps that can couple the surfboard bag to a roof of a vehicle. The surfboard bag includes an integrated rack system to space the surfboard away from the roof of the vehicle—protecting the surfboard and the vehicle. The surfboard bag includes a shoulder strap and one or more handles to facilitate carrying. The surfboard bag includes one or more pockets to store a wet or dry suit and other objects therein.

Sports board storage device
A storage device is configured to hold one or more sports boards. The storage device has a mechanism that transitions the device between a clamped and unclamped state upon actuation of a an actuation device. A user can actuate an actuator from a first position towards the device to a second position to transition the device from the clamped to the unclamped state.

Water sports board rack
The present invention provides a watersports board rack for attaching to a support member (e.g., hanging down from an overhead support tower) of a boat. The rack may have a low profile, superior padding and an increased contact area compared to current rack systems, as well as at least one strap for securing the board against the padding and a coupler for attaching to the overhead support member. The rack may thus be operable to securely hold up to two watersports boards (e.g., two wakesurf boards) without the usual wear and tear (e.g., dents and scrapes) that occurs from regular contact with the tines of current rack systems. The rack may thus increase the boat's capacity to securely store watersports boards while the boat is in motion, and due to the low profile, the rack will not substantially reduce headroom or require removal from a folding tower before folding the tower down for transporting and storing the boat.
