Sport board rack for power boat

A sport board rack for improving the stowage of one or more boards on a power boat or other watercraft. The sport board rack can include one or more telescoping arms that can pivot independently relative to each other. Each of the telescoping arms can include a claw that can be extended and retracted to secure a board between the claw and two seats of the sport board rack. The claw can be rotated open to ease insertion of a board onto the two seats and rotated closed to secure the board between the claw and two seats when retracted.

An apparatus for towing a water sports performer including a first leg, a second leg, a header, and a tow-line-attachment structure. Each of the first leg and second leg is adapted for attachment to one of the port side of a centerline of a boat or the starboard side of a centerline of a boat. The header is capable of assuming a plurality of different header lengths, and includes a first header portion, a second header portion, a housing, and a locking mechanism. The housing connects the first header portion and the second header portion. The housing includes a first receiver configured to receive a second end of the first header portion at a plurality of different positions. The locking mechanism is configured to secure the second end of the first header portion to the housing in one of the plurality of different positions to set the header length.

The present invention is a collapsible rack and methods of using the collapsible rack for storing boardsport equipment. The collapsible rack has an upper portion and a lower portion connected by at least one lockable hinge. The upper portion has a rotatable top bar having three or more rails extending parallel to each other and a locking arm to maintain the rails perpendicular to the upper portion when in use. The lower portion has a rotatable platform base and a locking arm to maintain the base perpendicular to the lower portion when in use. The lower or upper portion may also have a handle about the middle of one of its sides and a closure mechanism to maintain the rack in collapsed configuration for easy transport.

The water sports equipment rack mount supports a water sports equipment rack adapted for holding various types of water sporting equipment. A sealed actuator housing is connected to the swivel bracket and houses an actuator, such as an electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator. The actuator is configured to drive the swivel bracket to rotate the water sports equipment rack.

A mid portion of the board mount may include a pivot to allow pivoting of the engaged board while being supported by the device.

The proximal stop extends along a proximal stop longitudinal axis. The gas spring has a gas spring longitudinal axis, first end, and a second end. The first end of the gas spring is coupled to the proximal stop. The distal stop is coupled to the second end of the gas spring and extends along a distal stop longitudinal axis. The proximal stop longitudinal axis and the distal stop longitudinal axis are both locatable in an assembly plane that incudes the gas spring longitudinal axis. The gas spring is biased toward an extended position and urgable toward a retracted state. The gas spring is movable toward the extended position in an unlocked state and is prevented from being moved toward the extended position in a locked state.
