A modular, light weight, easy to install protection system configurable for surfboards having different shapes and lengths. The protection system including several modular protection sections including a modular protection system for the nose, the rocker, and the tail. Each protection section including one or more bumpers configured to rest or be seated along rails of each section. Each protection section may further including at least one securable locking element that engages the bumpers to remain desirably coupled to rails of a surfboard to be protected.

An equipment bag configured to secure and protect equipment within the equipment bag. The equipment bag may include a lid, a base, and an adjustable retaining member. The base may couple to the lid and define an internal volume between the lid and base. The base may include a front end disposed in a nose portion of the base, a rear end disposed in a tail portion of the base, and a perimeter wall extending around an edge of the base between the front end and the rear end. The adjustable retaining member may be configured to releasably couple to the base in a plurality of positions to adjust a retaining equipment length of the equipment bag to accommodate equipment with different lengths.

A bag for carrying sports equipment includes an upper wall, a bottom wall, and a side panel extending between the upper wall and bottom wall to form an enclosure for containing the sports equipment, wherein the upper wall is removably coupled to the side panel along at least a part of its perimeter to provide access to the enclosure; a first strengthening rib comprising a first rib section extending laterally across the upper wall, a second non-foldable rib section extending across the side panel on a first side of the bag, a third non-foldable rib section extending laterally across the bottom wall, and a fourth non-foldable rib section extending across the side panel on a second side of the bag opposite the first side, wherein the rib sections are arranged to abut each other such that they completely surround the enclosure: at least one foldable region adjacent the first strengthening rib.

A bag for carrying sports equipment includes an upper wall, a bottom wall, and a side panel extending between the upper wall and bottom wall to form an enclosure for containing the sports equipment, wherein the upper wall is removably coupled to the side panel along at least a part of its perimeter to provide access to the enclosure; a first strengthening rib comprising a first rib section extending laterally across the upper wall, a second non-foldable rib section extending across the side panel on a first side of the bag, a third non-foldable rib section extending laterally across the bottom wall, and a fourth non-foldable rib section extending across the side panel on a second side of the bag opposite the first side, wherein the rib sections are arranged to abut each other such that they completely surround the enclosure: at least one foldable region adjacent the first strengthening rib.

A divider for positioning between a bottom surfboard and a top surfboard comprising: a divider base placed between a first and a second surfboard, the divider base being a flexible sheet; and a surfboard nose support attached to the divider base, the surfboard nose support being a padded support for providing protection for a nose region of at least one of the top and bottom surfboards.

A pair of rollers is rotatably coupled to the cart for rolling the cart along a support surface. A pair of cradles is coupled to the upper shell to support a personal watercraft for transport the personal watercraft. The cart is comprised of a buoyant material to float behind the personal watercraft. A pair of straps is coupled to the upper shell for securing the personal watercraft on the cart. A light emitter is coupled to the cart to emit light outwardly from the cart thereby enhancing visibility of the cart in a darkened environment.

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a bisected surfboard insert for a surf bag. In an illustrative example, the bisected surfboard insert includes a first segment and a second segment. The first segment of the bisected surfboard insert may, for example, be inserted into the second segment to enclose a surfboard. Various embodiments of the bisected surfboard insert may advantageously couple via a pattern, which may, for example, include a jig-saw pattern.
