WATER FLOW DEFLECTION DEVICE FOR A WATERCRAFT AND METHODS OF USE
A water flow deflection device attached to a side of a watercraft to enhance the watercraft's wake. The device having a narrow, elongated base with two ends and a base width, the base aligned along the side of the watercraft when the device is attached to the watercraft. A deflector attached to the base between the two ends and having a face spanning between a leading end and an opposing end, the leading end extending outwardly from the base. The deflector face having a surface area configured to deflect water and a deflector width greater than the base width. The base removably attachable to the watercraft by a plurality of suction cup assemblies, wherein a greater number of suction cup assemblies located between the first end and the leading end of the deflector than between the second end and the leading end of the deflector.

A deck extender for a personal watercraft can include a deck member supported in a cantilevered configuration over an edge of the deck of the personal watercraft. The deck extender can include mounting sleeves fixed to an upper deck of a personal watercraft with mounting tabs of the deck member received within the mounting sleeves. The deck member can include mounting mechanisms having a receptacle and a pivoting cleat mounted above the receptacle configured for mounting accessories to the deck member. The deck member can have recessed channel members for mounting accessories.

The surf device is configured to draw water from the body of water through the inlet, accelerate the water by rotating the impeller, and discharge the accelerated water through the outlet to create a surfable wake.

A wakeboat that during operation creates a wake, the performance level of the wake varying depending upon the distribution of mass of and aboard the wakeboat, the wakeboat comprising: a hull; processing circuitry supported by the hull; a sensor configured to measure at least one parameter of the wakeboat, the sensor providing data to the processing circuitry, the processing circuitry configured to use the sensor data to derive the distribution of mass, the processing circuitry configured to use the distribution of mass to determine changes to the mass distribution which would yield a different wake performance level; and a display coupled to the processing circuitry, the processing circuitry being configured to use the display to indicate changes to the mass distribution which would yield the different wake performance level. Other systems and methods are also provided.

Surf wake system for a watercraft
An adjustable surf wake system enhances a wake formed by a watercraft travelling through water. The system may include a flap for deflecting water traveling past the stern of the watercraft, and/or a positioner operably connected to the flap for positioning the flap relative to a longitudinal axis of the watercraft between a neutral position and an outward position. Positioning a port flap in its extended position enhances a starboard surf wake, and positioning the starboard flap in its extended position enhances a port surf wake.
Boat and improved wake-modifying device for manipulating the size and shape of the wake
Various configurations of improved wake-modifying devices for a power boat are provided herein. All such configurations provide a water channel and (optional) wedge for capturing and redirecting significantly more of the water flowing past the transom of the boat than conventional trim tabs consisting primarily of a flat plate. This increases the upward force applied to the deployed wake-modifying device and raises the stern of the boat on the non-surf side to list the boat to the surf side, producing a larger wake on the surf side. Some configurations provide a convergent water channel to produce longer, smoother wakes on the surf side of the boat. Other configurations provide a divergent water channel, which produces a comparatively shorter, taller wake on the surf side of the boat.
