The apparatus includes a waist and a chest belt, or a wide belt, to position a vertical rigid rod support to which the training guide is mounted. The training apparatus includes a plate that can be adjusted via a universal joint. There are two universal joints between the plate and the vertical rod support strapped to the player's torso. The position, orientation and the angle of the plate can be adjusted by the player via the two universal joints as required. The training apparatus improves the paddle stroke trajectory by guiding the hand such that the ball is returned to the opposing player bouncing off the table.

A portable game includes a lower table forming a circular playing surface and an edge having a diameter D1, an upper table forming a circular playing surface and an edge having a diameter D2, wherein D1>D2. A vertical support member interconnects the lower and upper tables. Both playing surfaces include an inner circular hub line extending about the center of the respective playing surfaces, and a plurality of radially directed rays formed on the respective playing surfaces. Each ray is circumferentially equally spaced from each immediately adjacent ray, wherein each pair of adjacent rays defines a trapezoidal play segment extending between the edge and hub line. An outer cup positioning marker is centrally formed in each play segment at a common radial distance from the edge, and an inner cup positioning marker is centrally formed in each play segment at a common radial distance from the hub line.

A sports agility game for training hand eye coordination includes a base that may be positioned on a support surface. A box is pivotally coupled to the base such that the box is selectively positioned at a selected angle. A plurality of pegs is provided and each of the pegs is selectively inserted into a selected one of the apertures in the box. A ball is provided and the ball is selectively thrown against the box. The ball is comprised of a resiliently compressible material such that the ball bounces from the box. The ball randomly strikes the pegs that are positioned on the box thereby altering an angle of deflection of the ball with respect to the box. In this way the pegs inhibit the user from guessing the angle of deflection of the ball thereby enhancing hand eye coordination.
