A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.

A folding plate for baseball that can be used either independently or as part of a batting tee assembly. The base has a center panel and two flap panels that are attached to opposite sides of the center panel with hinged connections. The hinged connections enable the flap panels to be selectively folded against the center panel in a folded configuration and unfolded into a common plane with the center panel in an open configuration. The folding base can be used in conjunction with a tee stand that selectively connects to the base. The base supports the tee stand in an upright position. The tee stand can be selectively detached from the base. The tee stand can then be strapped against the base for convenient transportation and storage.

A method includes anchoring a loop strap and a hook strap at a first surface of a rectangular arcuate panel proximate a first end of the first surface, providing a retaining element anchored to the rectangular arcuate panel, with the retaining element forming a loop, and providing an extension strap anchored to the rectangular arcuate panel proximate the retaining element to form a fielding aid accessory. The method also includes wrappably attaching the anchored first hook strap with the anchored first loop strap around a forearm of an athlete and securely positioning fingers of a hand thereof by way of the loop of the retaining element such that the forearm contacts a second surface of the rectangular arcuate panel. The fielding aid accessory is configured to be used by the athlete in two modes of operation based on a configuration of coupling of the extension strap.

The present disclosure provides a tee-ball bag apparatus and method of use. The tee-ball bag apparatus provides users with a convenient place to storage and transport items as well as provide a tee-ball tee support with multiple pitch locations to hit a ball from. The tee-ball bag apparatus comprises a pentagonal bottom portion, a rear wall, first and second side walls, first and second forward walls, and a removable pentagonal lid coupled to an upper end of the rear wall. The rear wall, the first and second side walls, and the first and second forward walls extend vertically from the pentagonal bottom portion. The tee-ball bag apparatus further includes a plurality of vertical tee slots positioned within an interior of the bag and coupled to the rear wall. A tee-ball tee is placed within and support by one of the vertical tee slots.

A pitching mound form for constructing a pitching mound for playing baseball and softball includes, for example, a plurality of prefabricated frame sections. Each of the plurality of prefabricated frame sections defines a hollow frame having an open upper surface and an open lower surface. One of the plurality of prefabricated frame sections includes a pitcher's rubber frame for receiving the pitcher's rubber. Disclosed are pitching mound forms for forming baseball pitching mounds, single and multiple baseball bullpen pitching mounds, and softball pitching mounds.

A portable pitching mound with a plurality of mound sections. The plurality of mound sections are assembled by inserting a lower edge of one mound section into a receiving slot of another mound section. The configuration of the receiving slot forms an opening larger than the lower edge of the mound section to be received therein. The larger size of the opening allows the lower edge to be positioned anywhere above the opening of the receiving slot and upon lowering the weight of the mound section and gravity causes the lower edge to slide downwards and towards the adjoining mound section. Assembly does not require any tools or connection members such as screws, bolts, clamps, clasps, pins, adherent or adhesive surfaces, or the like.

A batting training aid includes a base, a vertically-extending brace or leg supported by the base, and a plane attached to an upper end of the brace via a joint. The brace allows for adjustment of the height of the plane, while the joint between the plane and the brace allows the plane to roll, pitch, and/or yaw to mimic optimal swing planes for different pitch locations/angles and batter heights. A plurality of wearable devices is worn by a batter whom the sports ball is being thrown towards. At least one of the plurality of wearable devices receiving and displaying data transmitted by the sports ball and a remaining plurality of wearable devices recording data relating to movement of the batter.

The improvements in the device and method for training, directing and repeating batting movements while performing the batting action have been designed both mechanically and automatically.
