Tee-ball bag apparatus
The present disclosure provides a tee-ball bag apparatus and method of use. The tee-ball bag apparatus provides users with a convenient place to storage and transport items as well as provide a tee-ball tee support with multiple pitch locations to hit a ball from. The tee-ball bag apparatus comprises a pentagonal bottom portion, a rear wall, first and second side walls, first and second forward walls, and a removable pentagonal lid coupled to an upper end of the rear wall. The rear wall, the first and second side walls, and the first and second forward walls extend vertically from the pentagonal bottom portion. The tee-ball bag apparatus further includes a plurality of vertical tee slots positioned within an interior of the bag and coupled to the rear wall. A tee-ball tee is placed within and support by one of the vertical tee slots.
BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL HITTING TRAINING DEVICE
The present invention is a baseball and softball hitting training device that prevents early arm extension, early wrist release, swinging the bat from the outside to the inside, throwing the back shoulder toward the plate, or otherwise casting the hands during a swing. The device comprises a support block with one or more grooves, a horizontal bar mounted perpendicular to the support block, a flag indicator connected perpendicular to the horizontal bar, and one or more attachment straps.
SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL PITCHING MACHINE
A softball pitching machine in accordance with the present disclosure is configured to lob a softball along an arcuate path with forward spin to mimic the motion of an underhand, slow pitched softball from a human pitcher. The softball pitching machine includes a throwing arm having a curved hand configured to move along a predetermined arcuate path to a preset stopping point that imparts the arcing path and the forward spin on the softball.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR A SWING TRAINING AID
A swing training aid according to various aspects of the present technology may comprise batting glove having a securing strap connected on a first end to a wrist portion of the batting glove. The securing strap is configured to move between an unconnected position and a connected position wherein the securing strap is secured to a backside of the batting glove to hold the fingers in a gripping position. The securing strap may be configured to be removably connected on a second end to one or more connectors located on the backside of the glove.
Blockchain
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a camera coupled to a processor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
THROWING TRAINING DEVICES AND METHODS OF USE
Throwing or pitching training devices and methods of use are provided. The training devices include a first linear member coupled to a second linear member at a predetermined angle by an elbow member; the second linear member including at least two securing members that secures the second member to a user such that the second linear member is parallel to a torso of the user and the first linear member is parallel to a plane formed by the shoulders of the user, wherein the first linear member provides tactile feedback to the user upon the user attempting a throwing motion.
BALL SWING TRAINING SYSTEM
A ball swing training system includes a training device having a swing assembly carried by a support assembly. The swing assembly may include a bracket, which may be C-shaped, carrying one or more pairs of elastically deformable, resistance pads. The pads may be elastically biased to a rest position in which the pads are oriented towards one another with respective front sides of the pads providing a striking surface. From the rest position, the pads may be elastically deformed by a hand-operated bat impacting the striking surface. The pads are configured to absorb part of the mechanical energy of the impacting bat, and to deform sufficiently away from one another to allow the bat to pass through. The system allows to develop proper swing mechanics for swinging in different strike zone quadrants, launch angles, planes, and directions, these multiple adjustments usable simultaneously.
TRAINING BAT
A training bat for optimizing the swing of a hitter includes a barrel portion and a handle portion connected to the barrel portion. The handle portion includes a handle having a generally cylindrical exterior surface that is engaged by a user to enable the user to grab and swing the training bat. The generally cylindrical exterior surface has a handle diameter sized large enough to substantially inhibit at least one hand of the user from wrapping around the generally cylindrical exterior surface when said at least one hand of the user grabs the generally cylindrical exterior surface of the handle to swing the training bat.
PERFORMANCE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR A PITCHER
A performance monitoring system includes a pitching mound, one or more processors, and a memory. The pitching mound includes a piezoelectric film associated with a pitching rubber, one or more rubber layers covering the piezoelectric film, a transmitter electrically coupled to the piezoelectric film, and a power source powering an amplifier associated with the piezoelectric film. The piezoelectric film generates electrical signals in response to pressure exerted on the pitching rubber. The processors are configured to receive the electrical signals generated by the piezoelectric film and transmitted by the transmitter. The processor is configured to analyze the received electrical signals based on training data using machine learning algorithms to determine at least one performance characteristic of the pitcher. The processors are configured to display on a display device the determined at least one performance characteristic in real-time.
SPORTS SWING TRACKING SYSTEM
A sports swing tracking system that has at least one computer processor, a camera system with a digital image sensor, the camera system operating at or greater than sixty frames per second at an exposure rate faster than one one-thousandth of a second. The sports swing tracking system also includes a distance calculating system designed to calculate the distance to an object of known size determined by a pixel array corresponding to the equivalent dimensions of the imaged object. The sports swing tracking system also includes a body frame pose estimator system designed to calculate the distance between each of thirteen or more body frame points and a motion mapping system designed to calculate changes in the three-dimensional location and attitude of at least one or more of the thirteen or more body frame points, an at least one ball point, and two or more points representing a sports instrument.
