MARKER, RECOVERY AND FLOTATION DEVICE
A marker and recovery device comprising: an enclosure adapted to be secured to a wearer; a bladder configured to fit within the enclosure in an uninflated state, the bladder comprising: an elongate tube; a first upper tube fluidly connected to the elongate tube at a first end of the elongate tube; and a second upper tube fluidly connected to the elongate tube at a second end of the elongate tube; and an inflation mechanism to inflate the bladder to extend the bladder from the uninflated state to a deployed state in which the first upper tube and second upper tube join to form a handle portion at the end of the elongate tube.
Backboard Inflatable Rescue Device
An inflatable rescue attachment includes at least a U-shaped bladder that is adapted to be secured around the outer perimeter of the head and side portions of a rescue backboard and can be inflated rapidly using an inflation fluid source.
A rigid, inflatable backboard includes a central portion with drop stitch material enclosed in an airtight chamber which, when inflated, provides a flat, rigid surface for securing and transporting a rescuee. The inflatable rescue attachment may be used with a rigid, inflatable backboard, as well as with a standard wood, plastic, or fiberglass rescue backboard.
SELF-INFLATING BREASTSTROKE FLOAT FOR INFANTS
A self-inflating breaststroke float for infants comprises a main body of a U-shaped structure. The main body comprises a sleeve body and a sponge located in the sleeve body, and the sleeve body is a sealed structure; an air nozzle communicated with the sleeve body is formed on the sleeve body; an adapted cap body is arranged on the air nozzle; a supporting pad is formed on the main body, and the edge of the supporting pad is arranged around a U-shaped inner ring of the main body and the main body is provided with a protecting device adapted with the supporting pad.
WATER SAFETY GARMENT, RELATED APPARATUS AND METHODS
A water safety garment and apparatus configured to avoid drowning can be configured to permit submergence for a predetermined period of time without inflation. After the predetermined time has passed, the garment or other apparatus can be configured to inflate to help a person wearing the garment float on top of the water to avoid drowning or other potentially harmful condition that may result from being underwater for too long. In some embodiments, a circuit may be utilized to detect the submergence condition of a person wearing the apparatus or garment. Upon a determination that the detected submergence condition has occurred continuously for a pre-determined period of time, an inflation mechanism can be actuated to force the person wearing the apparatus or garment to float to the top of the water.
Environmental protection garment
An environmental protection garment for use during water activities includes a wetsuit. A plurality of bladders, a receiver, a transmitter, and a controller are coupled to the wetsuit. An inflation unit coupled to the wetsuit and fluidically coupled to the plurality of bladders. The receiver is global position system enabled. The controller is operationally coupled to the inflation unit, the receiver, and the transmitter. The controller is positioned to selectively actuate the inflation unit to inflate the bladders to increase a buoyancy of a user. The controller is positioned to selectively actuate the receiver to receive location coordinates and the transmitter to transmit the location coordinates and a distress signal.
PORTABLE COVER FOR A LIFEBUOY
It is a portable cover for lifebuoys that facilitates their transport due to its small size, while its velcro-type closure make possible enough resistance to allow for expansion when the lifebuoy is activated by a sensor-actuator, when contact with the water is made.
SURVIVAL SYSTEMS
A personal survival system for use in water includes an inflatable chamber (9) and in inflation system (31) operable to inflate the inflatable chamber (9), wherein the inflation system (31) is mounted separately from and remotely from the inflatable chamber (9). Also disclosed are: a survival system for use in water includes an inflatable chamber including an inner layer and an outer layer, wherein the inner layer is separate from the outer layer; an inflation control system for use with an in-water survival system, the inflation control system comprises a selectively sealable chamber configured to contain water-triggered automatic inflation device of the survival system; and a personal survival system including an inflatable bladder and a moulded cover constructed from a flexible polymer.
Collapsible flotation device
A device comprises a spring and a sleeve. The spring is configured to form a closed loop. The spring is moveable between a coiled configuration when the spring is collapsed and an uncoiled configuration when the spring is expanded. The spring defines a circumference while in the uncoiled configuration. The spring is disposed within the sleeve.
LIFE VEST BAG
A life vest bag, in particular a passenger seat life vest bag, has at least one receiving unit, which comprises at least one receiving space for at least one life vest and at least one access opening to the receiving space, and has at least one closure unit which closes the access opening in at least one correctly closed state.
