Overboard Tracking Patch
An overboard tracking patch is an apparatus which increases the visibility and tracking capabilities of Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) for more efficient tracking of overboard individuals. In a passive embodiment, the apparatus includes an outer layer, an intermediate layer, an attachment layer, and a processor. The outer layer increases the visibility of PFDs during both daytime and nighttime conditions. The intermediate layer provides radio identification capabilities for the remote tracking of PFDs using search radars. The attachment layer enables users to attach the present invention to a PFD. The processor stores PFD information and other identification data. In a hybrid active-passive embodiment, the apparatus also comprises a thermionic layer and a power-storage layer. The thermionic layer generates power due to the heat exchange between the body of the user and the thermionic layer. The power-storage layer serves to store power generated by the thermionic layer to power up the processor.
Emergency rescue equipment suitable for wide area water surface
The invention discloses an emergency life-saving device applicable to a wide area water surface. The body is provided with a bottom plate slot opening downward, and left and right sides of the bottom plate slot are symmetrically provided with a power cavity opening downward. The top side of the power cavity is provided with a bevel gear cavity, and the bevel gear cavity and the power cavity are provided with a power device for driving the body to advance and turn. Push down. Compared with traditional life buoys, this device cannot automatically assist people to move. This device can automatically move people with the water down. While moving, it can also automatically control the direction and deceleration. The performance is greatly improved. At the same time, the device can still help people to swim forward when there is no electricity.
TACKING RUDDER FOR PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE, AND METHOD OF USE
A towable personal flotation device (PFD) is provided that includes a rudder attached to the device so as to extend into the water when the PFD is towed through water. The rudder is positioned, relative to the direction of travel, such that water flowing across the rudder imparts a lateral force to the rudder, causing the PFD to follow a parallel course. Methods are also provided, for delivering the personal flotation device to a person in or across the water.
PORTABLE COVER FOR A LIFEBUOY
It is a portable cover for lifebuoys that facilitates their transport due to its small size, while its velcro-type closure make possible enough resistance to allow for expansion when the lifebuoy is activated by a sensor-actuator, when contact with the water is made.
Life ring and method of manufacture
A life ring includes a cover formed of a knitted back polyester fabric with a top vinyl coating, and a urethane foam core within the cover. The cover and the urethane foam core are formed into a ring shape. By using the noted cover material, the life ring can be manufactured without a painting step, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and improving the consistency of the finished product.

Collapsible flotation device
A device comprises a spring and a sleeve. The spring is configured to form a closed loop. The spring is moveable between a coiled configuration when the spring is collapsed and an uncoiled configuration when the spring is expanded. The spring defines a circumference while in the uncoiled configuration. The spring is disposed within the sleeve.
Maritime overboard locator and response system
Provided is a maritime overboard locator system for use in locating and rescuing a person or asset that has fallen overboard into a body of water. The system includes a locator attached to a person or asset that is activated manually or automatically upon immersion in water. The apparatus emits light, sound, radio, or any combination thereof. The locator is detected by one or more detectors onboard a boat, ship, vessel, or structure. The detectors detect a unique signal that is assigned to each person/asset. Once detected, the detector sends an overboard alert and deploys an unmanned aerial or underwater drone. The drone can include an inflatable life preserver or life raft and a tether cord that helps the person to remain afloat until rescue can be accomplished.
Inflatable personal floatation systems
An inflatable personal floatation systems includes the manually inflated personal floatation device for aviation use including arm-strap loops, an inflation pull cord, a pack breakaway tether, and an inflation canister, a sealed pouch, an individual floatation device pack and a strap. The individual floatation device is configured to be worn in a waist belt. The individual floatation device is housed within the sealed pouch and connected to the sealed pouch via the pack breakaway tether. The inflatable personal floatation system provides a safety device for the user-wearer.
