FUEL CELL-BASED LIFE JACKET
The present invention relates to a life jacket based on a fuel cell that can store hydrogen fuel in it. Particularly, the present invention provides a fuel cell based life jacket that can utilize electricity, heat and water generated during the operation of a fuel cell as a power source of a life extension tool and a personal location beacon. The fuel cell based life jacket of the present invention comprises a fuel cell unit for supplying electricity, a hydrogen fuel supply unit for storing and supplying the hydrogen fuel required for the fuel cell unit to generate electricity, a signal output unit for transmitting a signal using the electricity generated by the fuel cell unit, and a heat generating unit for recovering and transferring the heat generated in the fuel cell unit, wherein the hydrogen fuel supply unit generates hydrogen by using a hydrogen generation composition. According to the present invention, the life jacket of the present invention can supply heat for maintaining the body temperature for a long time, supply water, and transmit various distress signals.
LIFE VEST APPARATUS
An improved life vest apparatus structured and arranged to allow for easy access to a built-in water pack thereby preventing a user from having to stop while riding a jet ski or enjoying other kinds of water sports along with quick access to a whistle, which is required by all those riding on personal water crafts.
Distress device of lifejacket
A distress device of lifejacket includes: a lifejacket main body; a wireless emitter, disposed inside the lifejacket main body and including a circuit board and an antenna, wherein the antenna is electrically connected to the circuit board; and a lithium polymer battery, electrically connected to the circuit board and disposed inside the lifejacket main body. Accordingly, the lithium polymer battery can be adopted to replace a convention lithium battery, so that the distress device of lifejacket can be safety disposed in an aircraft for providing sufficient amount of electricity required by the wireless emitter, thereby allowing the distress device of lifejacket to have an additional function of emitting signals, and the research and rescue team is able to rapidly locate the sufferer, so that the distress device of lifejacket is provided with advantages of increasing operation safety and facilitating the locating procedure for search and rescue.

Personal flotation device
One or more specific embodiments herein includes a personal flotation device, comprising a vest capable of floating in water and having front panels; a power source; a light source; at least two support straps; a first electrical cable; and a second electrical cable. Further, the first electrical cable and the second electrical cable are capable of being connected to one another to form a connector assembly through which electrical current is capable of flowing, and the connector assembly includes a housing for preventing water from contacting the electrical current when the connector assembly is formed.
LIFE VEST
A life vest includes a main body, a pair of front coupling member, and a pair of rear coupling member. The main body is divided into a front part surrounding an abdomen and a chest portion, and a rear part surrounding a back portion and having an storage space defined therein. The pair of front coupling members extend from the front part. The pair of rear coupling members are disposed adjacent to the pair of storage spaces and respectively include buckles of different kinds.
PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE WITH PASSIVE LOCATION AND IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A Personal Flotation Device (PFD), in the form of a vest or like garment, and having a quiver-like receptacle attachment, hinged to the garment for flexibility, is provided. The quiver attachment houses a mast and flag attached to a small flotation device, such that when the user enters the water the flotation device causes the mast and attached flag to rise so that the flag can be seen from a distance and the wearer identified thereby. The quiver element is attached such that it can place the extended mast and flag unobtrusively and at a distance from the wearer's head for comfort. The quiver element comprises a housing for the mast and flotation device and is permeable to water; the quiver element is shaped to guide the mast and flag linearly at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the wearer. The device allows for the flag to be interchanged with other flags so as to better identify the wearer from other users.
