Ascent and buoy system for divers
10131412 · 2018-11-20 ·

An apparatus for divers is disclosed that includes both a buoy and an ascent device. The system also includes a biological sensor for detecting when a diver is in distress. Upon the biological sensor detecting an anomalous condition, the system inflates a bladder, such as that found in a diver's Buoyancy Control Device, to urge the diver toward the water surface. The system also releases a buoy, allowing the buoy to float to the water surface and alert others of the diver in distress. In an example embodiment, the buoy detects its position upon reaching the surface and issues an alarm.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL

There is provided an information processing device, information presentation method, program, and information processing terminal that are capable of generating optimal behavior recommendation information in a specific environment in view of individual daily data. The information processing device includes a generation unit configured to generate behavior recommendation information to a user in a specific environment on a basis of log information related to the user in a daily environment.

AUTOMATED SELF-CONTAINED HOOKAH SYSTEM WITH UNOBSTRUSIVE AQUATIC DATA RECORDING

A self-contained surface supplied air system preferably provided with backpack-wearable capability and automated setup functions for ease of use that is capable of recording valuable recreational and scientific data in an unobtrusive manner. The flotation tube process for the system can be automated to reduce setup time and electronically regulated to increase reliability and safety. The system allows recreational divers or their inherent equipment to be capable of recording valuable and reputable data in a manner that does not involve extra effort by the user. The disclosed system can use a miniature pH sensor design with automatic calibration for integration into the data recording device. In one embodiment, the novel hookah diving system comprises a portable body enclosing all necessary equipment and featuring automatic flotation tube inflation and deflation. An integrated data recording device collects physical data at points along the diver's tether preferably from the surface all the way to the depth of the diver.

A sensor is accommodated in an accommodation portion provided in a housing. An attachment surface portion of the housing is provided on the outside surface of a case of an information device. A sensor cover is provided which fixes a sensor accommodated in the accommodation portion of the housing between the housing and the sensor cover. The housing accommodating the sensor can be attached to an attachment surface portion provided in the case together with the sensor cover.

BODY SUIT WITH DISTRIBUTED AIR SUPPLY

The present disclosure relates to a suit with an integrated air supply. The suit includes a body comprising a first body portion and a second body portion, an air supply coupleable to the body, a coupling mechanism coupled to the body and arranged for releasably receiving the air supply. The coupling mechanism is disposed on the first body portion and the second body portion of the suit.

UNDERWATER COMMUNICATION INTERFACE APPARATUS

An underwater communication interface apparatus includes a first waterproof enclosure having an interior configured to house an electronic device with a touchscreen in such a way that the touchscreen of the electronic device is adjacent to a first side of the first waterproof enclosure. The first side of the first waterproof enclosure has a non-rigid transparent membrane and the non-rigid transparent membrane is configured to allow a user to interact with the touchscreen of the electronic device. The apparatus also includes a second waterproof enclosure that houses a control module. The control module is configured to be operatively coupled to the electronic device and an external auxiliary device. The apparatus further includes a pressure balancing module coupled to the first waterproof enclosure. The pressure balancing module is configured to balance pressure within the first waterproof enclosure relative to external ambient conditions. The first and second waterproof enclosures are physically coupled together. An internal pressure of the first waterproof enclosure enables the non-rigid transparent membrane of the first waterproof enclosure to remain within a predetermined distance to the touchscreen of the electronic device. The predetermined distance is one that allows the touchscreen of the electronic device to receive inputs from the user via the non-rigid transparent membrane.

Dive Computer Incorporating Stored Dive Site Information

Dive computers in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed that store information concerning a dive site. The stored information can be accessed during the dive to provide information concerning such things as points of interest and/or hazards. One embodiment of the invention includes a processor, memory connected to the processor, a pressure transducer connected to the processor and configured to measure depth, and a display connected to the processor. In addition, the memory contains factual information concerning a dive site, and the processor is configured to display at least a portion of the stored factual information concerning the dive site via the display.

TANK PRESSURE TRANSMITTER WITH INTEGRATED BREATHING GAS ANALYZER

A tank pressure transmitter with integrated breathing gas analyzer and associated methods are provided. The tank pressure transmitter can include a gas sensor which detects a constituent of a breathing gas. The transmitter is operable to compile a constituent reading from the constituent detected, and communicate this constituent reading wirelessly to a dive computer.

Warning notification device, electronic watch, warning method and recording medium

A warning notification device includes a sensor, a notification unit, and a processor. The processor is configured to calculate a water depth from an output of the sensor every predetermined time and to calculate a surfacing amount from a change in the calculated water depth every predetermined time. When a long-term surfacing speed condition, which is to be determined on the basis of the surfacing amounts of a first number, is satisfied or when a short-term surfacing speed condition, which is to be determined on the basis of the recent surfacing amounts of a second number smaller than the first number, is satisfied, the processor enables the notification unit to issue a warning of a surfacing operation.
