SPORTS TRAINING-DEVICE
A sports training-device (100) comprising: a base (102); a retainer (104) for retaining a ball (106); and a flexible tether (108), a first end of the flexible tether attached to said base, and a second end of the flexible tether attached to said retainer; said flexible tether configured to, in use, provide damped movement of a ball retained in said retainer, following application of a force to said ball.
DEFENSIVE DRAG AND DROP TESTING FEATURES
Methods and systems for automatically creating a digital playbook. A processor presents a plurality of defensive player icons with a user interface of a computing device, where the plurality of defensive player icons are presented in a first configuration. The processor further receives a plurality of drag and drop gestures from a user of the computing device and, in response to the plurality of drag and drop gestures, repositions the defensive player icons in a second configuration such that the second configuration presents the plurality of defensive player icons in a different position than in the first configuration. The processor may further automatically render a presentation of the plurality of defensive player icons in the second configuration.
Tetrahedral Game Goal
A goal for a three-dimensional game includes: (a) four congruent hoops each having three equally spaced tee connectors along their circumferences and each hoop being coupled with each other hoop at exactly one tee connector and in a tetrahedral configuration; (b) four congruent generally triangular rebound sections overlapping at the tees and covering the areas outside of the hoops with a trampoline like construction; (c) a tube of net affixed at both ends to the peripheries of any two hoops which two hoops when rotated in opposite directions twists and constricts the net tube so that a ball may not pass into one end of the tube and out the other end; (d) Three distinct congruent hoop shaped goal openings which, when positioned on a playing field, one hoop is the base, one hoop faces generally away from the opposing goal for two points, and two hoops face generally forward for one point;
MULTI-SPORTS SIMULATION APPARATUS
A multi-sports simulation apparatus includes a housing which includes camera accommodation spaces for attaching side camera units at both ends thereof in a longitudinal direction and a central portion in which an opening is formed so that a central camera unit fixed to a frame passes through the opening.
Reducing Brain Injury By Limiting Brain Motion During Sudden Deceleration Or Acceleration Of The Head
A brain injury reduction system provides a protective measure that temporarily or decreases venous drainage out of the intracranial compartment during or immediately before and during a sudden change in acceleration of an individual's head. Specifically, a wearable helmet or other wearable structure of the brain injury reduction system detects an impending collision and determines whether a protective measure is needed. If so, one or more actuation devices provides the protective measure to reduce venous drainage through one or both of the internal jugular veins or paravertebral venous plexus. A first actuation device stimulates a gag reflex or valsalva-like maneuver to reduce venous drainage through the paravertebral venous plexus. A second actuation device can physically compress the internal jugular veins. Thus, the brain injury reduction system minimizes the detrimental impact that may occur due to the sudden change in acceleration of the individual's head.
Goalkeeper glove
A glove is provided and includes a cuff providing an opening to the glove. A back panel defines a first portion of finger sheaths and a thumb sheath and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. A palm panel is disposed on an opposite side of the glove from the back panel and defines a second portion of the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath. The palm panel is formed from a material having a greater coefficient of friction than a material of the back panel and extends along the finger sheaths and the thumb sheath to the cuff. The palm panel tapers in a direction from the finger sheaths to the cuff. A gusset extends between and is attached to the back panel and the palm panel and is formed from a different material than the back panel and the palm panel.
ATHLETIC TRAINING EQUIPMENT
An exercise apparatus may include a rectangular platform, first and second attachment points, first and second rails and friction reducing runners on the rails. The platform may have an upper face, a lower face, two long edges and two short edges. The first attachment point may be disposed along one of the long edges. The second attachment point may be disposed along the other of the long edges. The first rail may be attached to the lower face of the platform proximal to one of the short edges of the platform. The second rail may be attached to the lower face of the platform proximal to the other of the short edges of the platform. The first and second rails may be spaced apart to define a passageway beneath the apparatus, wherein the passageway is configured to allow the apparatus to pass over a standard sprinter's starting block without contacting any part of the starting block.
EXERCISE APPARATUS AND METHOD
An exercise apparatus including at least a first trapezoidally shaped portion, and a second trapezoidially shaped portion. In one embodiment, a plurality of trapezoidally shaped portions are provided. The trapezoidally shaped portions are arranged with respect to one another. The portions can be used to form curves or straight lines. Excercises are conducted by stepping into or on the trapezoidally shaped portions.
Training sled
A training sled configurable for adding weights in some embodiments to increase friction and provide for weight-training by lifting portions of the sled. Sled components are slidably or pivotably connected to permit lifting a shoulder member of the sled to different heights and to achieve an optimal training angle.
PORTABLE PRACTICE TARGETS FOR PRACTICING HITTING A TARGET ATTACHED TO A GOAL POST OR CROSSBAR
A portable target assembly for use in a sport wherein a projectile is propelled at a goal, the portable target assembly comprises a front face and rear face separated by a solid material, and a magnet secured to the portable target assembly allowing the portable target assembly to be magnetically attached to a goal post or crossbar. A magnetically receptive material is coupled to a goal post or crossbar when the post or crossbar is not made of a magnetic material. A method of sport training, comprising the steps of: providing a portable target assembly having a front face and a rear face separated by a solid material with a magnet secured thereto; securing the portable target assembly to a goal post or a cross bar of a goal such that the portable target assembly protrudes into a goal region of the goal; launching a projectile at the portable target assembly.
