Swing Training Assembly for Swing Sports Including Golf, Baseball, Tennis or Hockey
A swing training assembly includes a shuttle, a shuttle travel track, a tensioner, a shuttle displacement line and a shuttle pulley. The shuttle resides in the shuttle travel track and the shuttle pulley and shuttle displacement line are adapted to linearly displace the shuttle to different shuttle positions within the shuttle travel track in response to displacement forces applied to the shuttle pulley by a user pulling on the shuttle displacement line. The tensioner provides an opposing counter-force to control the rate of shuttle displacement. The swing training assembly may also include body positioning limits to maintain proper body alignment while the user pulls on the shuttle displacement line.

SPORTS TRAINING BALL HAVING EMBOSSED DESIGN
A sports training ball is disclosed that is made up of a shell having an embossed design that defines an enclosure having an interior volume substantially occupied by a filler that includes a mixture of a first material, a second material, and a third material.
METHOD OF EXERCISING THE HUMAN BODY PREFERABLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE USE OF AT LEAST ONE PIECE OF GYM OR SPORT EQUIMENT IN THE PERFORMANCE OF A PREDETERMINED TRAINING PROGRAM COMPRISING CARRYING OUT OF A SEQUENCE OF STEPS WITH EACH STEP INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF LEG MOVEMENTS ON A FLOOR MAT WHEREIN AT LEAST ONE LEG MOVEMENT IN EACH STEP CAUSES A ROTATIONAL BODY AND/OR HIP MOVEMENT IN UNISON WITH THE LEG MOVEMENT DURING THE TRAINING PROGRAM
The subject invention is directed to a method of exercising the human body comprising the steps of executing a training program on a floor mat consisting of a multiplicity of boxes arranged in horizontal rows and vertical columns to form a checker board pattern of boxes on the surface of the floor mat with only one box located in common at the intersection between each horizontal row and each vertical column with each of the multiple boxes being equal in size and adapted to accommodate the foot size of substantially any person exercising on the floor mat such that the location of each foot on the floor mat will correspond to substantially only one coordinate box position with little or no overlapping, with said method comprising the steps of: using a human individual or a recording machine to execute the training program by calling out a sequence of steps corresponding to at least the movement of one leg of the person exercising on the floor mat relative to the other leg which is held stationary so that the moving leg moves from one specified coordinate box position on the floor mat to another specified coordinate box position, with each leg movement selected from the group consisting of a forward leg movement, a backward leg movement, a lateral forward or lateral backward leg movement and a rotational leg movement, and with each step being called out in a predetermined consecutive sequence corresponding to, at least, the leg movements of the person exercising on the floor mat with at least one of the steps, or a consecutive combination of the steps, in said sequence requiring the moving leg to cause the body and/or pelvis of the person exercising on the floor mat to rotate, at least partially, relative to the non-moving leg and in unison with the rotation of the body such that the person exercising on the floor mat forms a pattern of movements corresponding to movements of the person in their everyday lifestyle integral to his or her occupation or to a pattern of movements corresponding to a given gym exercise or for simulating a given sport.
STICK SADDLE FOR HOCKEY TRAINING APPARATUS
A stick mounting device allows one or more hockey stick resembling members to be mounted on an existing hockey training apparatus.
Golf club head customization
A method of customizing a golf club, wherein the method includes generating operating data representative of a user operating a mechanical device. The operating data is generated by a first sensor sized and configured to be removably positioned in a mounting port formed on the mechanical device during operation of the mechanical device. The sensor is interchangeably positionable in the mounting port with at least one mass insert, the at least one mass insert being adapted to be interchangeably positioned in the mounting to provide at least two different mass configurations. The method further includes determining a recommended configuration of the at least one mass insert specific to the user based on the operating data generated by the sensor, and transmitting information representative of the recommended mass insert.
INTELLIGENT SPORTS EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An intelligent sports equipment system and method for processing data as a result of different types of events associated with a puck or ball and generally another piece of sports equipment. The information associated with each type of event can include associating player information with the processed data. In one example a smart hockey puck has embedded electronics for sensing motion across a plurality of axes, a hockey stick has an associated RFID tag that can be read by the smart hockey puck, which can transmit information to a computing device for displaying processed data.
SPORT TRAINING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A sport training apparatus, such as for hockey or soccer (e.g. football) having an elongated base member and one or more stick members coupled to the elongated base member. One or more support members extend from under the elongated base member to rest on a training surface. A projectile, such as a puck, may pass under the elongated base member. The stick members may have an angle from about 0-degrees to about 180-degrees with respect to the elongated base member.
Stick handling training device
A stick handling training device is provided. A stick handling training device for practicing stick handling drills having a board surface. A plurality of lights affixed to an underside of the board surface. One or more sensors affixed to the underside of the board surface that detects a presence of one or more physical stimuli. One or more objects for stick handling having a member that generates physical stimuli and an interface display, wherein a user moves the one or more objects across the board surface. The plurality of lights turning on and off in a specific order such that only one light is on at a same time providing an appearance that a single light may be moving in a drill pattern. One or more sensors tracking at least one characteristic of the one or more objects for stick handling and the interface displaying at least one characteristic.
