20210236900 · 2021-08-05 ·

Methods, systems and computer readable media for relay race exchange planning and visualization are described. The relay race exchange planning can be used for relay race training and performance optimization, among other things.

PACE TARGETS WITH ON COURSE RATING SYSTEMS
20210252371 · 2021-08-19 ·

The present disclosure relates to on course rating systems (OCRS) and, more particularly, to its pace targets on cross country or road race course segments and related systems and methods of use. The method includes: obtaining performance equivalences (PEQs) of a first rated course including a track equivalent time of the first rated course; and obtaining a goal time, the equivalent of the first course but on a second course; and providing pace targets on selected segments for the second rated course using the track equivalent time and the goal time in order to cumulatively produce the goal time of the second rated course.

System and process for RFID tag and reader detection in a racing environment
11839803 · 2023-12-12 · ·

A racing tracking system and process includes one or more RFID-based tower units connected to a computer. Pairs of tower units may be positioned to provide redundancy of detection so that the front of a participant and the rear of a participant (where bibs may be worn) are detected. The redundancy of RFID-based tower unit detection of front and rear worn bibs assures that all bibs will be read, and improves on the accuracy of a participant's position being confirmed.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING AIR PRESSURE ON A PORTION OF THE BODY OF AN INDIVIDUAL
20210196552 · 2021-07-01 ·

A system is provided by applying pressure to a portion of a body of an individual in a chamber having an aperture along a vertical axis for receiving the portion of the body of the individual. A pressure sensor is coupled to the chamber for measuring a pressure inside the chamber. A negative feedback control system, calibrates, adjusts and maintains the pressure inside the chamber.

Methods and systems for control of human cycling speed

A method is provided for the automatic control of cycling speed in a human. The method comprises: estimating the subject's actual cycling speed using one or more sensors to thereby obtain a measured speed; determining an error comprising a difference between a desired speed and the measured speed; and outputting, to the subject, a stimulus frequency signal wherein the stimulus frequency signal is based on the error in such a manner that when the subject pedals in a manner that matches a frequency of the stimulus frequency signal, the subject's actual speed controllably tracks the desired speed.

Method and system for athletic motion analysis and instruction

A system and method for analyzing and improving the performance of a body motion of an animal or human subject requires instrumenting a subject with inertial sensors, monitoring a body motion of interest, converting sensor data into motion data and animation, comparing the motion data with existing data for motion related performance parameters, providing a real-time, information rich, animation and data display of the results in color coded displays; and based on the results prescribing a training regime with exercises selected from a library of standardized exercises using standardized tools and training aids.

Receiving feedback based on pressure sensor data and movement data
11039665 · 2021-06-22 · ·

A method for providing pressure feedback is described herein. The method includes receiving, via a processor, pressure sensor data from a plurality of pressure sensors over a period of time. The method also includes receiving, via the processor, movement data from a plurality of sensors over the period of time. The method also further includes sending, via the processor, pressure sensor data and movement data to a data service. The method also includes receiving, via the processor, a feedback from data service.

DISPLAYING A SCROLLABLE LIST OF AFFORDANCES ASSOCIATED WITH PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

The present disclosure generally relates to managing user interfaces associated with physical activities. The user interface displays a scrollable list of affordances associated with physical activities. The affordances may contain physical activity and heart rate information. A user can launch a physical activity tracking function or an interface to change a workout metric using an affordance. Users can also control the music that is played in response to selecting a workout. Further, the interface can be used to compose a reply message to a received message that contains workout information. The interfaces can show a graph that includes heart data when the user's heart rate meets a heart rate alert criteria.

SAND PIT TRAINING BAG
20210260433 · 2021-08-26 ·

A sand training bag for sand and/or mineral training in an open and closed configuration. The sand pit training bags includes a sand pit training bag configuration comprising at least one fastener and at least one overlaying fabric around the perimeter to open flat on a surface. The sand training bag includes attachable wall structure, wherein the surface attachable wall structure is configured with a sand pit training bag in an open configuration visible relative to a sand or mineral pit held by one or more fasteners. The sand training bag includes a single sand pit training bag, wherein the single sand pit training bag is convertible to a single sand pit with at least one attachable perimeter wall around the perimeter of the open sand or mineral receiving surface configuration, wherein a top cover is configured to be viewed as a sand or mineral pit closed configuration. In one embodiment, the number of sand training bags with at least one attachable perimeter removably attached to another sand training bag is unlimited.
