BODY MOVEMENT ANALYSIS FOR BOWLING ACTIVITY IN A SPORT
20200054928 · 2020-02-20 ·

A system and method for analyzing human body movements relevant for various sports is described. The system requires connecting a multiplicity of sensors at specified locations of the human body. The set of sensors may be distinct for different sports. Raw data is gathered from the sensors and processed to derive various informative parameters. The informative parameters are displayed to the pupil with descriptive feedback. The system also features communication of the raw data and informative parameters to external entities through a computer network. The communication to the external entities enables provision of comparative study of the pupil's progress with time and with respect to professionals in the sport. The pupil could also get expert feedback over the computer network.

The present inventive concept relates to a system, and related methods, for facilitating practice of bowling, wherein the system comprises: a data storing device configured to store oil pattern data corresponding to a set of oil patterns for bowling lanes; a projecting arrangement configured to project graphics onto a bowling lane; and a processing unit configured to send, from the data storing device to the projecting arrangement, oil pattern data corresponding to one oil pattern of said set of oil patterns, whereby graphics representing the one oil pattern of said set of oil patterns is projected onto the bowling lane.

Machine for setting up bowling pins enabling selection of the set-up of one or a plurality of pins in chosen positions
10328332 · 2019-06-25 · ·

A machine for setting up bowling pins in predetermined positions. The machine includes: a movable distributing arm, suitable for releasing the pins one by one each at one of the predetermined positions, and a primary system for positioning the distributing arm with respect to the predetermined positions. The primary system is devised for an operating cycle moving the distributing arm according to a fixed sequence. A lifting wheel sweeps away the pins and delivers the pins to the distributing arm. A motor moves the distributing arm, the primary positioning system and the lifting wheel (3). A secondary system interferes with the primary positioning system enabling the user to define a position chosen from the predetermined positions with a view to the set-up, by the machine, of a pin in the chosen position.

Wireless electronic table game scoreboard

A method of operating an electronic basketball scoreboard apparatus is disclosed. The method includes receiving a game parameter; operating a basketball game based upon the received game parameter; receiving a first indication of a ball passing through a first basketball hoop; receiving a second indication of a ball passing through a second basketball hoop; determining a first score of the basketball game based on the first indication from the first score sensor; determining a second score of the basketball game based on the second indication from the second score sensor; recording video of the basketball game; transmitting the recorded video; and transmitting the first score and the second score.

Bowling enhancement system with mobile device pairing and related methods

A bowling enhancement system is for a bowling lane, and may include a mobile device, an image sensor arranged over the bowling lane and configured to generate image data of the bowling lane, projectors arranged over the bowling lane and configured to generate a set of projected images onto the bowling lane, and a server. The server may be configured to cause a given projector to project a pairing token onto the bowling lane, when receiving the pairing token from the mobile device, establish a communication link with the mobile device to receive a given game characteristic from the mobile wireless communications device, determine a tracking path of a bowling ball traveling on the bowling lane based upon the image data, and selectively change the set of projected images based upon the tracking path of the bowling ball and the given game characteristic.

Interaction of audio, video, effects and architectural lighting with bowling scoring system and methods of use

An interactive bowling system using scoring systems and/or other computer infrastructures which interact with visual and/or audio effects within the bowling center. The system includes a management system having stored therein instructions to provide special effects associated with one or more events to one or more special effects components. Upon an occurrence of an event, the management system: determines that the occurrence of the event is associated with one or more special effects; and provides the instructions to the one or more special effects components to effectuate the special effects associated with the one or more events.
