Multi-purpose adjustable-incline climbing wall
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall includes one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also include one or more fitness accessories that can be brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.
Hard-point fixture for attaching to a target surface
A reservoir provided in a hard-point fixture is pre-loaded with a curable adhesive, where the reservoir is protected from the curing radiation. The fixture is placed on a target surface and the adhesive is extruded from the reservoir into a space between the fixture and the target surface. An irradiating device to cure the adhesive is provided in the fixture and activated to couple the fixture to the surface. Once the curing process is complete, the fixture is released from the placement system leaving the fixture affixed to the target surface.
Climbing-wall and pendulum-fall, swing apparatus and method
A climbing wall defines vertical, transverse (horizontally in-and-out, toward-and-away-from wall) and lateral (horizontally sideways) directions, mutually orthogonal. A surface treatment simulates rock by texture, holds, or both. A line (rope, cable) extends from a belay anchor, spaced away from the wall, to a climber at the wall. Line distance is controlled to eliminate slack to start, and continuously if the wall is increasingly steep and possibly curving sideways (laterally). When climbing ends, the climber swings transversely (and, optionally, laterally sideways) away from the wall in a pendulum fall, swinging (oscillating) about the belay anchor for multiple cycles and clear of contact with the wall. The fall may be intentional (the climber releasing a grip on the wall), accidental (falling from own weight), or due to line tension initiated by an automated timer or operator intervention.
FITNESS ACTIVITY APPARATUS
A fitness activity apparatus has a frame having four vertical posts, the vertical posts comprising a left rear post, a right rear post, a left front post, and a right front post, the left rear post and right rear post being connected by a rear lateral bar, the left front post and right front post being connected by a front lateral bar, the left rear post and left front post being connected by a left side bar, the right rear post and right front post being connected by a right side bar, the left side bar and right side bar being at a common level to provide a support platform configured to support a circular weight plate having a selected plate diameter, and the rear lateral bar positioned at a first vertical level and front lateral bar being positioned at a different second vertical level.
Mobile, deployable multi-functional recreation structure
A deployable mobile trailer with multiple deployable walls is disclosed. The mobile trailer includes wheels rotatably coupled to a base and a frame attached to the base. The frame has vertical supports attached to the base and a top frame assembly disposed at a top end of the vertical supports. First and second elongate deployable walls are rotatably attached to respective first and second sides of the frame. The first and second walls include and are movable between respective retracted and deployed positions. A deployable end wall is rotatably attached to an end of the frame and has a retracted position and a deployed position between which it is movable. Multiple activity devices are removably attached to the top frame assembly, the first elongate deployable wall, the second elongate deployable wall, or the deployable end wall. A mobile activity structure and method for operating a mobile deployable activity structure are also provided.
CHALK FOR ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES
An athletic chalk comprising plaster of Paris, magnesium carbonate and activated charcoal, having relative proportions of materials of approximately 71-75% plaster of Paris, 19-23% magnesium carbonate and 10-2% activated charcoal, and a method for producing same.
System for physical mobility activity of a person
A system for physical mobility activity of a person includes at least one fixed support member and at least one contact member to be worn by a person in motion. The support member and the contact member include at least one support surface and at least one contact surface, respectively. The support surface and the contact surface constitute the respective components of a hook-and-loop fastening connection including of hooks and loops, wherein the hooks have hook stems and hook openings. The hook openings on the support surface or contact surface in question are at least substantially all situated at the same side of the hook stems in question, when considered in a first direction parallel to the support surface or contact surface in question.
Detachable training hold
Devices, systems, and methods for finger and/or grip training including detachable hold features for engaging a user's finger to work against a load.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
