Multi-purpose adjustable-incline climbing wall
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall includes one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the upper portion of the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. In some embodiments, the climbing wall may also include one or more fitness accessories that can be brought to an optimal height for a particular user through adjustment of the climbing wall incline.
MULTI-PURPOSE ADJUSTABLE-INCLINE CLIMBING WALL
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises one or more climbing panels supported by a frame and a system for adjusting the incline of the frame to provide a climbing wall of a desired incline. The incline of the climbing wall may be adjusted by activating an actuator, which extends the frame a distance from a support wall, tilting the climbing wall to a desired incline. When the climbing wall is substantially vertically oriented, the system for adjusting the incline of the climbing wall may extend only a small distance from the support wall so that the adjustable-incline climbing wall has a relatively small footprint. Further, by providing a plurality of attachment points between the actuator and the frame (and/or between the actuator and a support), the adjustable-incline climbing wall may be provided with a wider range of incline angles, as well as increased control over those angles.
Smart device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a body with a processor, a camera and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor.
ADJUSTABLE-INCLINE CLIMBING WALL
The present disclosure is directed to an adjustable-incline climbing wall. The climbing wall comprises a climbing surface and a system for adjusting the climbing surface to a desired incline. By positioning the pivot point for the climbing surface in front of the bottom edge of the climbing surface, embodiments of the climbing wall minimize or eliminate the unusable “dead space” at the bottom of the climbing surface that is created when conventional adjustable climbing walls are placed at higher angles of incline. Moreover, by angling the legs of the support structure outward, embodiments of the climbing wall provide for an extended fall area that is free from obstructions, providing enhanced climber safety. Finally, embodiments of the climbing wall are freestanding structures, which are easily installable in a climber's home or personal gym without damage to floors or walls.
CLIMBING WALL IN WHICH THE CLIMBING ROUTE IS CHANGED BY AN AUTOMATED MECHANISM
An apparatus comprising multiple climbing holds and a robot having an end-effector, the end-effector adapted to be detachably connected to each of the multiple climbing holds. A controller adapted to instruct the robot and/or the end-effector to select one of the multiple climbing holds from a carrying medium. Grab a selected climbing hold of the multiple climbing holds. Mechanically attach the selected climbing hold to the carrying medium at a desired location and at an orientation of the selected climbing hold relative to an orientation of the carrying medium. Grab the selected climbing hold to mechanically detach the selected climbing hold from the carrying medium and pull the selected climbing hold out of the carrying medium.
Indoor-traditional climbing device cover
Traditional climbing is being sought out by more indoor climbers, however the issue that has arisen is that the only way to learn the method is through trial and error in the outdoors on real rock. An indoor-traditional climbing device (I-TCD) makes it possible to learn how to climb Traditionally in a safe environment with hands on instruction. Provided herein is a cover/shield for an I-TCD that allows not only for the placement of multiple kinds of gear within the I-TCD body, but it allows the climber to fall on that gear placement safely to determine the quality of their gear placement, without the risk of falling upon the I-TCD body. Therefore, the cover/shield provides an angled feature to reduce direct impact injuries while increasing the opportunity for climbers who wish to learn how to climb traditionally.
Climbing exercise machine
An exercise machine creates a simulated continuous resisted climbing motion. The machine includes a floor- or ground-contacting base frame and two or more substantially vertically oriented uprights, wherein at least one upright is rigidly connected to the base frame. The machine further includes two handles and two foot pedals, each handle and each foot pedal being movably engaged with an upright for linear reciprocating motion along the upright. The handles and foot pedals are interconnected so that they move concurrently. An adjustable resistance mechanism may be operatively connected to the interconnection of the handles and foot pedals to provide adjustable resistance for the simulated continuous climbing motion.
EXPANDABLE CLIMBING PANEL AND CLIMBING WALL HAVING SUCH A PANEL
The present invention is directed to a climbing wall comprising one or more expandable climbing panels. The expandable climbing panel may be configured so that changing the angle of a portion of the climbing wall in one direction causes the climbing panel to expand, such that the panel provides an increased climbing surface area, and changing the angle of the portion of the climbing wall in the other direction causes the climbing panel to contract, such that the panel provides a reduced climbing surface area. By hingedly attaching the expandable climbing panel to first and second wall portions, at least one of which is adjustable to a plurality of angles, a climbing wall that can be brought into a variety of different configurations, e.g. at the touch of a button, is produced.

PLAY STRUCTURE WITH A MESH PANEL
A play structure for children, including two vertically arranged pillars and a first vertically arranged panel element connected between the two pillars, said two vertically arranged pillars each being longer than 2 m and said first vertically arranged panel element being arranged such that its upper edge is located higher than 2 m from the bottom of the two vertically arranged pillars. The first vertically arranged panel element comprises a rectangular frame comprising a top and a bottom horizontally arranged frame member and a left and a right vertically arranged frame member, said top, bottom, left and right frame members together defining an enclosed area, said enclosed area being greater than 0.5 m2 and said enclosed area being filled with a mesh structure made from elongated metal elements arranged in a repeating pattern, each of the elongated metal elements being fastened to at least two different frame members.
