Interactive Sports Training System
A method, system, and apparatus, including a program encoded on computer-readable medium, for interactive training or entertainment. Each of multiple platform components interconnects with at least one other platform component and includes visual indicators, a detector substantially adjacent to each indicator for detecting a proximate game accessory, and a detector microcontroller. A main control unit receives data frames from the detectors and determines a quantity of detectors in an interconnected set of platform components based on data contained in the data frames. A memory stores a plurality of routines. The main control unit is adapted to execute a selected routine based at least in part on the determined quantity of detectors. The selected routine defines a sequence of activation of the indicators in the interconnected set of platform components.
Exercise Apparatus for Ball Game
An exercise apparatus has several selectably activatable target objects arranged to register hits by a movable playing object. The target objects are arranged on a wall and are connected to a control unit. The control unit is arranged to activate the selected target object and an indicator which is arranged to identify the activated target object and is connected to and arranged at the target object, for a period determined by the control unit. The indicator is arranged above the target object. A method of training the playing skills of a team player is provided by using the exercise apparatus.
Assessment and enhancement of reaction based joint stabilization capabilities
Interactive system provides training and assessments relating to joint stabilization capabilities and reaction-based performance for diverse populations. This system may enhance the subject's ability to generate and deliver power as a direct byproduct of properly timed decelerations originating with the effectors and supported by the verticality of the spine. Said decelerations also provide functional means for improving joint stabilization capabilities via improved co-contraction of the shoulder(s) joints and other anatomical locations on the subject. The resulting data may serve as the basis for predictive analytics relating to joint stabilization and the associated risk of orthopedic injuries. This system may also train/improve the dampening of internal forces resulting from aggressive weight bearing movements, and more effectively dissipate the force of received physical impacts.
HEADSET VISUAL DISPLACEMENT FOR MOTION CORRECTION
Many headset devices, such as virtual reality helmets, present visuals that respond to the user's motion, such that a rotation of the user's head causes the visual to be re-rendered from a correspondingly rotated perspective. The lag between the user's motion and the updated rendering from the new perspective may be perceivable even at high framerates, and may induce unpleasant feelings such as vertigo. Instead, headset devices may respond to detected motion by identifying a displacement of the physical location of the visual that causes it to maintain a physical position relative to a stationary reference point. The display is operatively coupled with a displacer, such as actuators or a projection adjustment, that are engaged to displace the display according to the identified displacement and maintain a physical location of the visual relative to the stationary reference point (e.g., until the visual is re-rendered from the updated perspective).
Exercise training system
An exercise training system is provided having a system controller and a plurality of stimulant target units connected via a wireless network to the system controller. Each stimulant target unit has a light source providing light to stimulate a user, a proximity sensor providing an output of a distance between the proximity sensor and an object external to the unit, and means for providing feedback to the user to signal that the unit has been actuated by the user. The system controller includes a program for activating the stimulant target units in a sequence. The reaction by the user to the illumination is registered when the user brings a body part or other object to within a selected distance of the proximity sensor, this distance being programmable by the user.
Pivoting scissor action heavy bag mount
The scissor action pivoting heavy bag mount has an overhead attachment support bar, a minimum of two support arms each having at least one 360-degree movement hinge which allows for independent arm action to swing freely about a vertical axis in either direction in a 360-degree range also having a minim of one spring. The scissor action pivoting heavy bag mount is an exercise device that specifically supports the bag such that, hitting the bag allows the bag to move unpredictably in a variety of directions from the force of each strike thereby exercising, conditioning and developing the muscles of the user. The bag mount is designed so the bag will move laterally in a horizontal plane, with limited pendula motion having an endless path of movement simulating the movement of an opponent.
Exercise assembly
An improved exercise assembly structured to be struck by a user includes a base supporting a shaft on a supporting surface. A support shaft extends outwardly from the supporting surface. At least one rotating targets is connected to the support shaft and extends outwardly. A resistance assembly is adjustably mounted on the shaft into and out of a position relative to a path of travel of at least one rotating target. The position includes the resistance assembly in engagement with at least one rotating target. The rotating target includes an elongated arm including a predetermined weighted construction and a safety portion thereon.
SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING MOTOR ACTIVITY
Disclosed is a system for performing motor activity, including a plurality of modular devices, each modular device including a unit for generating at least one sensory stimulus, a generation unit activation unit and a mechanism for detecting a human reaction to the stimuli, there being provided an external control unit intended to generate commands for the activation unit of each modular device. The external control unit includes a unit for measuring the parameters acquired by one or more sensors associated with the body of at least one person.
Iprogrammable electronic sports target system
A programmable electronic sports target system. The system includes one or more target devices mounted to a goal with a net. Each of the one or more target devices has a programmable module disposed therein for controlling and operating the one or more target devices. A remote control system containing a computer and a database is connected to each programmable module to receive target sensor data from the programmable module of each of the one or more target devices for analyzing the data and for transmitting operational control data to the programmable module for operational control of the target devices having the programmable module disposed therein. Target application software within mobile communications devices receives target sensor data from the remote control device and to transmit operational control data to the remote control device.
PRACTICE BALL
A practice ball with an off-axis weight distribution allows sportspeople to practice their ball catching, passing and other skills using a ball that flies through the air with a wobbly trajectory.
