Rail saver with handle
The invention is directed toward a Rail saver with a handle. The rail saver has a handle the extends laterally away from the rail saver, creating a loop which the user can grab to maintain control over a water sports vehicle such as a long board, SUP, foil board, sail board, body board and other water sports vehicles. The rail saver with a handle is designed to add the functionality of being able to grab and control a free-floating board while in water. Grabbing and controlling an SUP board is also difficult while holding a paddle. This new functionality provides an opportunity to control a board with one hand whether or not you are holding a paddle. By holding and using the handle, the board rider avoids injury to his fingers or hands from grasping at a leash cord that is not designed to be grabbed.
SAFETY RELEASE MECHANISM FOR KITE-SURFING
A safety release mechanism for kite surfing with a safety release member by which a kite surfer is attached to the body. A locking element detachably secures an attachment end of the safety release member to the body. A resilient element urges the locking element into the unlocked position, such that upon release for the locking element, the resilient element moves the locking element to the unlocked position thereby resulting in a release of the attachment end of the safety release member, regardless of the orientation of the device, the orientation of the kite, or the available strength of the kite surfer.
Device for adjusting a harness line for a sail-board
The invention relates to a device for adjusting the attachment points of a harness line (2) on a boom (1) for a sail-board or the like. It is in particular remarkable in that it includes a carriage (3) that is mounted sliding inside or outside the boom (1) or in an attached part. The harness line (2) passes through the passage orifices of the carriage (6a-6b) in order to form a loop (4), which allows the user to hang by his harness. The carriage (3) can be locked by an appropriate system. This device makes it possible to correct the position of the loop (4) easily during operation of the sail-board in the water by unlocking the carriage, sliding it and locking it in a new position. The length of the loop (4) can be adjusted by shortening or lengthening the harness line (2) with a clam cleat.
