Gluteus maximus power push apparatus
A power push exercise apparatus comprises a frame assembly to house a weight system of selectable stacked weights. A foot assembly is provided in a workout space, such that a user may provide a downward force on the foot assembly to engage the weight system and perform exercises targeting the gluteus maximus.
SKI-RIGHT SKI TRAINER
A multi-dimensional adjustable device for use in training skiers is disclosed. The ski training device of the present invention provides a horizontal support bar having a cushioned proximal end for comfortably engagement with a skier's chest and an opposite, distal end which can be gripped by a ski instructor. Specifically, a pair of adjustable upward-facing handles is positioned on the support bar to be gripped by the skier after the width between the handles is adjusted in accordance with the width of the skier's shoulders, and after the pair of handles is adjustably positioned along the length of said support bar in accordance with the length of the skier's arms. In this manner, skier leans forward in a proper skiing position. The distal end of the support bar provides a hand grip for the instructor. Also, an additional grip is adjustably positioned near the distal end, which provides an alternative grip for the instructor. In use, the skier is guided by a trained ski instructor or individual who directs the learning skier into turns, stops, and starts, while the skier is leaning forward, and properly faces the skier downhill in the fall line direction.
Body alignment and correction device
The body alignment and correction device disclosed herein includes a belt for wearing about the waist of a user. The device further includes removable and repositionable foam blocks to displace portions of the belt away from the user's body. A method of stimulating abdominal or back muscles of a user of the device by selectively placing foam blocks to space a portion of the belt away from a user's body is also disclosed.
Core strengthening assembly
A core strengthening assembly for performing core strengthening exercises includes a ball that may be positioned on a support surface. A harness is positioned around the ball and the ball rotates freely in the harness. A pair of pedals is each removably coupled to the harness. Each of the pedals may have one of a user's feet positioned thereon. In this way the user's feet are spaced from the support surface when the user performs core strengthening exercises.
Device with reciprocating upper extremity support assemblies
An upper body support assembly for use with an associated railed device having first and second rails is disclosed. The assembly includes first and second upper body supports capable of moving along the first and second rails, respectively. The upper body supports have at least one of: (i) first and second forearm supports, (ii) first and second hand grips, or (iii) a first forearm support and a first hand grip. An interconnecting member extends between and selectively connects both the first and second upper body supports to permit (i) interrelated movement therebetween when connected, and (ii) independent movement therebetween when disconnected. The assembly can achieve two point gait, three point gait, and four point gait movement.
Weight bench centering device
A centering device includes a receiving bracket configured to be attached to a bench unit including at least one wheel, the receiving bracket defines a receiving hole, and a catch mechanism configured to be attached to an exercise machine, the catch mechanism comprising at least one outer peg and a center peg, the outer peg defining a groove. The receiving bracket and wheels being engagable with the catch mechanism to center the bench unit with respect to the exercise machine.
Coordinated weight selection
A free weight assembly includes a cradle, an aerobic exercise element that is movable with respect to the cradle during the performance of an exercise, at least one free weight removable from the cradle, an input in communication with a processor that determines a time to instruct a user to remove the free weight, and an indicator that activates when the time to remove the free weight arrives.
HEAD ALIGNMENT GOLF TRAINING AID
A head alignment golf training aid system including a configurable frame assembly and a net member. The configurable frame assembly having a top section, middle section and bottom section, all sections collectively forming an inverted L shaped frame having a rectangular base when the frame assembly is configured. The top section includes a horizontal bar member, a support bracket member to steady the top section of the frame assembly, an alignment bar member which aids in orienting a user's head to a required position to obtain a desired golf swing, wherein the position of the alignment bar member relative to a user is adjustable to achieve a suitable orientation, and an elbow connector member for connecting the alignment bar member to the horizontal bar member. The middle section includes a vertically oriented pole member and the bottom section includes a rectangular base member having enclosed therein one or more golf tees. The rectangular base member is prefilled with weighted material to stabilize the configured frame assembly. The net member having a semicircle shaped net frame member and a screen member which attachably connects to the net frame member, the net member including designation labels, each located at a predetermined position on the screen member, wherein each designation label identifies a characteristic about the user's golf swing when a golf ball shot by the user hits the net member at one of the predetermined positions of the designation labels.
Exercise apparatus
The present invention relates to an exercise apparatus. The exercise apparatus includes a platform which has an endless belt revolved around it. The endless belt defines an exercising space. A left strap extends from a left front portion to a left rear portion of the exercising space, and a right strap extends from a right front portion to a right rear portion of the exercising space. The left strap and the right strap respectively have a first connecting part and a second connecting part which could be connected or detached with each other. When the two connecting parts are connected with each other, the left strap and the right strap form a retaining portion for resisting forward movement of a user. When the two connecting parts are detached, the left strap and the right strap could be positioned on a left side and a right side of the exercising space.
Force measurement system
A force measurement system is disclosed herein. The force measurement system includes a force measurement assembly configured to receive a subject thereon, and one or more data processing devices operatively coupled to the force measurement assembly. In one or more embodiments, the one or more data processing devices are configured to generate a first image portion comprising a primary screen image for viewing by the subject and display the first image portion using the at least one visual display device, and the one or more data processing devices are further configured to generate a second image portion comprising a virtual screen surround and display the second image portion using the at least one visual display device.
