POSTURAL DYNAMICS EXERCISE SYSTEM
Exercise apparatuses that may be particularly useful or treating and strengthening connective tissue. For example, apparatuses that may have or be reconfigured to have multiple (e.g., three or more) configurations that are suspended from above by a ceiling or stand. The equipment facilitates the stabilization of the body according to the principle of tensegrity, so that the tension in all movements is omni-directionally coherent, thus creating omni-tensional integrity, which may be helpful in treatment and strengthening of muscular connective tissue (fasciae) in musculoskeletal dynamics, to restore, rebuild, strengthen and regain elasticity within the human fascial network. These apparatuses can support the user at an oblique body angle while the user performs various movements.
Ball shooting training apparatus
A ball shooting training apparatus comprises a support member. An arm receiving strut is coupled to the support member and extends in a rearward direction, and is configured for receiving an upper arm of a user. A guide support configured for receiving a forearm of the user is coupled to the support member and extends upward to a distal end to form a substantially 90 degree angle with the arm receiving strut. A support rod is coupled to the support member and extends upward from the arm receiving strut. A shot completion engagement is disposed at or near the distal end of the support rod, and in front of and above the distal end of the guide support.
Range of Motion Limiting Device For Shuttle Carriage
A range of motion limiting device, in one example comprising a first armature configured to engage a carriage moving on at least one rail having a first surface and a second surface transversely offset from the first surface of the rail. Also disclosed is an example utilizing a first bumper adjacent the first longitudinal end of the first armature. The first bumper extending transversely from the first transverse side of the first armature, optionally having a distal end with a non-slip surface engaging the first surface of a rail. Also disclosed is a second bumper longitudinally offset from the first bumper on the first armature, the second bumper extending transversely from the second transverse side of the first armature, also optionally having a distal end with a non-slip surface engaging the second surface of the rail.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an exercise apparatus. The exercise apparatus includes a platform which has an endless belt revolved around it. The endless belt defines an exercising space. A left strap extends from a left front portion to a left rear portion of the exercising space, and a right strap extends from a right front portion to a right rear portion of the exercising space. The left strap and the right strap respectively have a first connecting part and a second connecting part which could be connected or detached with each other. When the two connecting parts are connected with each other, the left strap and the right strap form a retaining portion for resisting forward movement of a user. When the two connecting parts are detached, the left strap and the right strap could be positioned on a left side and a right side of the exercising space.
INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC TRAMPOLINE
An interactive electronic trampoline assembly is made up of a frame, legs, a trampoline mat, a plurality of bias members to secure the trampoline mat to the frame, and a sensor to sense movement of the trampoline mat. A handlebar may also be connected to the frame. A control module may be removably secured to the assembly adjacent the frame. The control module may have a speaker, a power source, a controller, lights and control buttons. The sensor may also be housed in the control module. Different lights and sounds are output based on an input to the controller, the game being played and input received by the sensor.
Exercise bar
An exercise bar having a frame and a pair of rails positioned interiorly of the ends of a frame. A pair of moveable handles engaged with and mounted upon the rails. The moveable handles have a user grip. A pair of spring assemblies is located at each end of the frame and attached therein between and to the frame and one end of each respective moveable handle. During exercise, a user place weights on the outer ends of the frame and may then move the exercise bar in a general vertical swinging motion up or down, similar to existing barbells, and add additional stress via a compound movement by moving the handles in towards the center of the load and concurrently handle towards the center of the exercise bar to produce a transverse stress upon the user and user's musculature.
Weight Bench Centering Device
A centering device includes a receiving bracket configured to be attached to a bench unit including at least one wheel, the receiving bracket defines a receiving hole, and a catch mechanism configured to be attached to an exercise machine, the catch mechanism comprising at least one outer peg and a center peg, the outer peg defining a groove. The receiving bracket and wheels being engagable with the catch mechanism to center the bench unit with respect to the exercise machine.
Weightlifting Neck Support Harness
A harness providing neck support for weightlifters, to reduce the risk of neck injuries, resulting from improper lifting form. The harness includes a soft foam support collar worn around the neck. Furthermore, it includes a strap, ring, loop, and fastener system to secure the harness to a weightlifter's pre-existing lifting belt. The harness provides downward tension for support, ease of removal between uses, and enables the wearer to adjust for a comfortable fit. The harness stabilizes the neck, while allowing full range of motion of the arms, shoulders, and chest. This invention is unique in that it provides neck support specifically for weightlifting, and attaches to a waist-level supportive device.
DEVICE WITH RECIPROCATING UPPER EXTREMITY SUPPORT ASSEMBLIES
An upper body support assembly for use with an associated railed device having first and second rails is disclosed. The assembly includes first and second upper body supports capable of moving along the first and second rails, respectively. The upper body supports have at least one of: (i) first and second forearm supports, (ii) first and second hand grips, or (iii) a first forearm support and a first hand grip. An interconnecting member extends between and selectively connects both the first and second upper body supports to permit (i) interrelated movement therebetween when connected, and (ii) independent movement therebetween when disconnected. The assembly can achieve two point gait, three point gait, and four point gait movement.
Baseball Swing Trainer
A baseball swing trainer. The baseball swing trainer includes a housing having a base, a rear wall, and a top portion defining an open center area. A plurality of resistance blades extend downward from the top portion such that they are positioned within the open center area. A fastener is disposed on the rear wall for securing the swing trainer to a vertical structure such as a pole or tree. When a user swings a bat through the open center area, the resistance blades resist the motion of the bat. This enables the user to develop the muscles that are activated during the swing, which helps to increase swing speed and strength. A resistance band removably affixed to the vertical structure can be connected to the end of a bat to accelerate the bat through the natural swing plane, which enhances the neurological firing rate related to swing musculature.
