Reformer carriage drag adjustment apparatus
A reformer includes a generally rectangular frame, a movable carriage mounted on the frame for movement between head end and foot end of the frame, and a plurality of springs biasing the carriage toward the foot end of the frame. The carriage has at least four roller wheels. A carriage drag adjustment device in accordance with the present disclosure generally includes a drag generator configured to apply an opposing force to at least one roller wheel of the wheeled reformer carriage, a mounting assembly fastening the drag generator to the wheeled reformer carriage, and an adjustment mechanism coupled to the drag generator to adjust the amount of drag applied to at least one roller wheel mounted to an underside of the reformer carriage, thereby opposing movement of the wheeled reformer carriage between the head and foot ends of the frame.
Configuration of a running surface for a manual treadmill
A treadmill is provided according to various embodiments herein. The treadmill includes a frame; a front shaft coupled to the frame; a rear shaft coupled to the frame; and a running belt disposed about the front and rear shafts, wherein the running belt assumes at least a portion of a curved running surface, the curved running surface having a radius of curvature of approximately 88 to 138 inches.

The present invention discloses a stable basin-shaped trampoline, which includes a frame, multiple resiliently flexible rods with lower ends and top ends respectively, and a bouncing mat; the lower end of each rod is inserted into the frame, and the bouncing mat is bridged arranged above the top ends of the rods; the outer diameter of the bouncing mat is less than that of the frame, the frame, the resiliently flexible rods and the mat encloses into an inverted basin-shaped structure with a relatively larger lower part and a small upper part; or, the outer diameter of the bouncing mat is larger than that of the frame, the frame, the resiliently flexible rods and the bouncing mat encloses into a basin-shaped structure with a large upper part and a small lower part. The basin-shaped structure increases the stability of the trampoline and makes the trampoline not easy to flip.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTED ROW EXERCISE
An exercise device configured to provide for a lifter performing a bent-over row exercise. The exercise device provides lower back support and stability to the lifter. Embodiments of the device may be attachable to an exercise rack or be configured as a standalone device. An embodiment of the exercise device may comprise an adjustable support pad configured to support the chest of a lifter. The adjustable support pad rotates about an axis to optimize comfort and alleviate lower back strain during bent-over row exercises.
Balance training system, control method and control program for balance training system
A balance training system includes a moving carriage configured to be able to move on a moving surface by driving a driving unit, a calculation unit calculating a load's center of gravity of the training person's feet on a boarding surface from the detected load, a setting unit configured to set a stable range, the stable range being a range of the load's center of gravity, and the training person is assumed to maintain upright on the boarding surface in the range; and a control unit performing safety control for ensuring safety during a training attempt for driving the driving unit to move the moving carriage when the control unit determines that the load's center of gravity has fallen outside the stable range or when the control unit predicts that the load's center of gravity is going to fall outside the stable range.
Exercise Machine Handle System
An exercise machine handle system for providing a gripping structure that substantially surrounds a stationary or movable exercise platform. The exercise machine handle system generally includes a stationary or movable exercise platform and a perimeter handle surrounding the exercise platform. A space is formed between an outer edge of the exercise platform and an inner edge of the perimeter handle that allows a plurality of fingers of an exerciser to extend through.
SWING PATH TRAINING APPARATUS
A swing path training apparatus includes a support structure and a path member supported on the support structure. The path member includes an inner guide and an outer guide defining a path therebetween. The path tracks the geometry of a swing path. The path member also includes a closed end connecting the inner guide and the outer guide and an opening configured to allow a racquet to be inserted into or removed from the path. A method of training a swing path apparatus is also disclosed.
Exercise Machine
An exercise machine which includes a centralized spring box and multiple gripping surfaces with which an exerciser may perform a wide range of exercise moves. The exercise machine includes a movable carriage and platform on a track. Bias members may be connected between the carriage and various structural elements of the exercise machine so as to impart a resistance force against movement of the carriage. An outer handle may be positioned around a carriage platform so as to surround the carriage platform. Inner handles may be positioned between the carriage platform and the outer handle, with the inner handle(s) being connected not to the outer handle or the carriage platform, but to an underlying support assembly. A pair of end handles may extend outwardly from the ends of the exercise machine. A bias member retainer such as a spring box may be centrally-located along the length of the exercise machine.
A TREADMILL EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus (10), specifically a treadmill is disclosed. The apparatus includes a treadmill mounted on a frame (14) with a rotating conveyor providing a moving surface for a person to exercise thereon. There are also at least three static foot support portions (26, 28, 30) connected to said frame allowing the person to stand on the apparatus and not on the moving surface. There are first and second foot support portions (26, 28) on either side of the conveyor and a third said foot support portion (30) located in front of the moving surface approximately below a grasping handle (32).
FOOT SUPPORTS WITH FIT ENHANCEMENT FEATURES FOR AN EXERCISE MACHINE
A foot support assembly for an exercise machine may be configured for sing-hand operation (e.g., cinching or releasing of the foot strap), The foot support assembly may include a footplate coupled to the frame of the exercise machine and configured to support the user's foot during exercise and a strap coupled to the footplate and configured to resist separation of the user's foot from the footplate. The strap is operatively associated with a quick release ratchet mechanism, which is configured to be unlocked simply by pressing a lever of the ratchet to allow the ratchet strip to reverse, releasing the user's foot from the strap. The foot support assembly may be provided on each side of the seat rail of a rowing machine, which may alternatively or additionally include a multi-grip handle including a plurality of grip portions configured to position the user's hand at different orientations to one another.
