DISPLAY OF A THREE DIMENSIONAL RECODRING IN A SYSTEM FOR REHABILITATION

Examples relate to a system to apply stimuli to a human body. The system comprises a three dimensional display, a stimulation element, a specific piece of clothing, a portable background and a controller. The controller comprises a processor, data storage and an instruction set. The instruction set is to cooperate with the processor, data storage, three dimensional display and stimulation element to display a recorded three dimensional representation of an actor in movement and to transmit to the stimulation element stimuli synchronized with the movement. The actor is wearing a piece of clothing having the same aspect as the specific piece of clothing, the actor being located in front of a background having the same aspect as the portable background, the recording being from the actor point of view.

METHOD OF GAIT EVALUATION AND TRAINING WITH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SYSTEM

There is described an integrated unweighted gait training system having an unweighting system comprising a computer controller; a gait measurement system in communication with the controller; and a display in communication with the computer controller adapted and configured to provide real-time feedback to a user of the integrated unweighting gait training system. The unweighting system may be a differential air pressure (DAP) unweighting system or a non-DAP unweighting system.

A locomotion system for use with a virtual environment technology includes a platform configured to support a user, a harness support assembly coupled to the platform and extending upwardly from the platform, and a safety harness configured to be worn by the user. The harness support assembly includes a support halo positioned above the platform and extending about a vertical central axis. The safety harness includes an interface structure moveably coupled to the support halo.

Walking aid device

Provided is a walking aid device capable of easily offering walking training by aiding the oscillation of the user's pelvis. The walking aid device comprises a drive part which supports each of at least two or more locations of the user's lumbar region, and applies external force independently to each of the supported locations; a gait recognition unit which recognizes the user's gait; and a control unit which sets the user's ideal walking motion pattern based on a recognition result of the gait recognition unit, and controls the external force applied by the drive part to each of the locations of the lumbar region so that the user's pelvis position within the lumbar region will oscillate to match the walking motion pattern.

A play apparatus has plural types of elevated equipment, namely a ropes course and a zip coaster. Both types of elevated equipment have respective user safety supports that extend along the respective equipment and receive a safety harness worn by a user. The user need not change safety harnesses to use the different types of equipment. The entry and exit locations for the elevated equipment are in a common area elevated above the ground. A third type of equipment, namely an obstacle course, is located under and above the common area.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BODILY SUPPORT

An exercise support system configured to support at least a portion of a user's weight is disclosed. The exercise support system may include a base assembly including a plurality of frame members defining an interior region of the system. The system may also include a lift assembly comprising a drive assembly and an arm assembly. A body support (e.g., a seat) may be configured with the arm assembly. In general, the base assembly provides support to the lift assembly, and the lift assembly provides the mechanism(s) and forces to raise and lower the arm assembly (and the body support) thereby supporting at least a portion of the user's weight.

Walking training apparatus and walking training assistance device

A walking training apparatus including a treadmill having an infinite orbital rotation type walking surface, the walking training apparatus including: a holding part that a walking trainee holds, in which the holding part is capable of supporting a load applied to the walking surface by the walking trainee and is movable in a direction including a component parallel to the walking surface, is provided. By providing a pseudo stick with the aforementioned structure, the trainee is able to perform training of the upper part of the body that uses the stick in parallel to training of the leg part that uses the treadmill.

ROBOTIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR LIMB REHABILITATION

A robotic management system to control an apparatus that comprises of a mobile-frame, dynamic weight unloading mechanism and lower extremity exoskeleton device is disclosed. The fall safe apparatus receives the input from the doctors, users and therapist and the robotic management system automatically calculates the exercise routine using the robotic management system. An intelligent algorithm, embedded onto a dedicated processor, actuates various motors to execute the prescribed exercises, while the sensors provide dynamic feedback for corrective measures to control the exercise routine.

Methods and apparatus for body weight support system

A body weight support system includes a tether configured to be coupled to an attachment device worn by a user to couple the user to the body weight support system. A method of providing gait training includes defining a reference length of the tether when the attachment device is in an initial position and defining a threshold length of the tether. A first amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to a surface and the length of the tether is less than the threshold length. A second amount of body weight support is provided during the gait training as the user moves relative to the surface and the length of the tether is greater than the threshold length. The method further includes displaying data associated with the gait training on a display of an electronic device.
