Boat steering and propulsion system
Techniques are disclosed to enable a system for controlling the propulsion and steering of a boat by a boat operator. The boat has at least one propulsion and steering motor assembly connected to the boat with a propeller, and a propulsion motor. It also has left and right pivoting pedals to provide a signal that controls the angle of the propeller so that if the left pedal is pivoted in a first pivot direction by a first percentage and the right pedal is pivoted in a second pivot direction by a second percentage, the boat executes a turn, moves forward, or moves in reverse.
Outboard motor
In an outboard motor equipped with a V-type four-cycle engine provided with a left bank extending leftward and obliquely rearward and a right bank extending rightward and obliquely rearward, a drive shaft is perpendicularly disposed in the outboard motor body so as to transmit a driving force from the engine to a propeller disposed below the engine, and center positions of the left side exhaust passage and the right side exhaust passage are positioned forward than the drive shaft in a front-and-rear direction in an advancing direction of the outboard motor.
STERN DRIVES HAVING BREAKAWAY LOWER GEARCASE
A stern drive is for propelling a marine vessel in water. The stern drive has an upper drive unit with a lower mounting surface; a lower gearcase coupled to the lower mounting surface and a trailing end surface that is angled relative to the lower mounting surface; and a propeller shaft extending forwardly from the lower gearcase and being configured to rotate a propeller for pulling the marine vessel in the water. The upper drive unit and the lower gearcase are configured such that when a forward side of the lower gearcase impacts an underwater obstruction, the lower gearcase is caused to pivot relative to the upper drive unit until the trailing end surface impacts the lower mounting surface, which thereby causes the lower gearcase to completely uncouple from the upper drive unit.
Outboard Motor Stabilizer
An outboard motor stabilizer of unitary construction has a cylindrical body and an axially oriented cylindrical orifice with an opening at the bottom end of the body. The orifice has a diameter sized to fit onto a tilt rod of an outboard motor and is of a length that is longer than the tilt rod of the outboard motor.

TRIM AND TILT DEVICE
A trim and tilt device includes: a cylinder; a piston; a rod; and a rod guide. The rod includes a first end to which the piston is fixed, and the piston includes an insertion hole to which the first end of the rod is inserted. Over an entire periphery of the rod guide, a lower end of an outer peripheral surface of the rod guide that is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder is located closer to a second end of the rod than a lower end of a first inner peripheral surface of the rod guide where the outer peripheral surface of the rod is slidable. An upper end of an outer peripheral surface of the piston is located closer to the second end of the rod than an upper end of the insertion hole.

DRIVING DEVICE FOR A VESSEL
A drive device for a vessel includes an electric motor, driving a rotatable drive shaft; an elongate drive device housing, encapsulating the electric motor and the drive shaft; and a propeller, detachably mounted to the rotatable drive shaft. The drive device housing has an upper connection device. The upper connection device is symmetrical about a transverse axis, enabling the drive device housing to be mounted to a structure onboard the vessel in either of two longitudinal directions. The drive device and the hull of the vessel are separated from each other by using an isolation plate with a central isolation sleeve. The electric motor drives the drive shaft via an interconnected gear device encapsulated in the drive device housing or integrated as a part of the drive device housing and are arranged pivotably with respect to the tilt device housing.

VESSEL PROPELLING SYSTEM AND ASSEMBLY
The present disclosure relates to a vessel propelling mechanism. In one aspect, a vessel propelling system includes a motor and a waterjet system. The waterjet system is coupled to the motor and includes a stator with a plurality of blades. A first blade of the plurality of blades has a shape that is different than remaining blades of the plurality of blades, the shape of the first blade allowing a driving mechanism of the motor to be coupled to a shaft within the waterjet system.
