Outboard motor
An outboard motor includes a power source, a drive shaft, a propeller shaft, a propeller attached to the propeller shaft, a case covering the power source, the drive shaft, and the propeller shaft, a water intake passage provided in the case, through which water is taken into the case from an outside of the outboard motor, a first pump configured to be driven by rotation of the drive shaft and to supply the water taken in from the water intake passage to the power source as cooling water, and a second pump configured to be driven by rotation of the drive shaft and to supply the water taken in from the water intake passage to the power source as the cooling water. The first pump and the second pump are arranged in a distributed manner in the outboard motor.
ELECTRIC PROPULSION MACHINE
An electric propulsion machine for propelling a boat. The electric propulsion machine includes a motor provided in an upper portion of the electric propulsion machine, a propeller shaft provided in a lower portion of the electric propulsion machine, a propeller provided in the propeller shaft, a drive shaft extending in an upper-lower direction and configured to transmit rotation of the motor to the propeller shaft, and a first non-positive displacement pump provided in the propeller shaft and configured to supply cooling water to the motor, the cooling water cooling the motor.
SHIP PROPULSION MACHINE
A ship propulsion machine includes a first and second power sources for rotating a propeller, an intake port, a first cooling water supply passage connecting the intake port to the first power source, a pump that sends water flowed into the first cooling water supply passage from outside of the ship propulsion machine via the intake port toward the first power source as cooling water, a drain port, a first cooling water discharge passage connecting the first power source to the drain port a heat exchanger, a cooling medium circulation passage that circulates a cooling medium between the second power source and the heat exchanger, a second cooling water supply passage branched from the first cooling water supply passage and connecting the first cooling water supply passage to the heat exchanger, and a second cooling water discharge passage connecting the heat exchanger to the drain port.
ELECTRIC PROPULSION MACHINE
An electric propulsion device includes a motor for rotating a propeller and a cooling device for cooling the motor. The cooling device includes a first cooling system and a second cooling system. The first cooling system includes a heat exchanger that uses water from outside the electric propulsion device as cooling water and cools refrigerant, and a supply passage that supplies the water from outside the electric propulsion device as the cooling water to the heat exchanger. The second cooling system includes a motor cooling jacket that is provided in the motor and cools the motor with the refrigerant, and a circulation passage that circulates the refrigerant between the heat exchanger and the motor cooling jacket.
ELECTRIC PROPULSION DEVICE
An electric propulsion device includes a propeller, a motor rotating the propeller, an inverter controlling driving of the motor, and a cooling device cooling the motor and the inverter. The cooling device includes an intake port taking water around the electric propulsion device into the electric propulsion device as cooling water, a drain port discharging the cooling water taken into the electric propulsion device to around the electric propulsion device, a pump flowing the cooling water from the intake port to the drain port in the electric propulsion device, a motor water jacket cooling the motor with cooling water taken into the electric propulsion device, and an inverter water jacket cooling the inverter with cooling water taken into the electric propulsion device. The motor water jacket and the inverter water jacket are connected in series between the intake port and the drain port in the electric propulsion device.
ELECTRIC PROPULSION DEVICE
An electric propulsion device includes a motor configured to rotate a propeller, a propeller shaft disposed below the motor and provided with the propeller in a rear part, a lower case accommodating a front part of the propeller shaft, and a cooling device configured to cool the motor. The cooling device includes a heat exchanger configured to cool refrigerant by using water outside the electric propulsion device as cooling water, a motor cooling jacket provided in the motor and configured to cool the motor by using the refrigerant, and a circulation passage configured to circulate the refrigerant between the heat exchanger and the motor cooling jacket. The heat exchanger is provided in the lower case.
OUTBOARD MOTOR
An outboard motor includes a cooling device which includes a supply passage supplying a cooling water taken into a lower unit to a cooling mechanism. A first shaft portion of the connecting mechanism has a cylindrical shape, is provided in an upper part of the lower unit, and has an axis coaxial with the axis of a drive shaft. A second shaft portion has a cylindrical shape, is provided in a lower part of an upper unit, and has an axis coaxial with the axis of the drive shaft. One shaft portion of the first and the second shaft portions is inserted into the other shaft portion to be pivotable relative to the other shaft portion. The drive shaft is inserted into the one shaft portion with a space. A part of the supply passage is formed of the space between the drive shaft and the one shaft portion.
MARINE PROPULSION DEVICE
A marine propulsion device includes a motor including an output shaft, a drive shaft extending in a vertical direction of the marine propulsion device, and a cooling device. The motor is disposed so that an extension direction of the output shaft is a direction perpendicular to the vertical direction. The cooling device includes an intake port taking water outside the marine propulsion device into the marine propulsion device, a motor water jacket provided in the motor and cooling the motor, a water pump disposed below the motor and sending water taken into the marine propulsion device from the intake port to the motor water jacket as cooling water, and a first cooling water passage connecting a discharge port of the water pump to an inlet port of the motor water jacket.
MARINE PROPULSION DEVICE
A marine propulsion device for propelling a boat is provided The marine propulsion device includes a motor including an output shaft, a drive shaft configured to rotate upon receiving a rotation of the output shaft, a propeller shaft provided with a propeller and configured to be rotated upon receiving a rotation of the drive shaft, and a cooling device. The cooling device includes a cooling mechanism configured to cool the motor, and a water pump configured to send water outside the marine propulsion device to the cooling mechanism. An impeller of the water pump is connected via a one-way clutch to the output shaft, the drive shaft, or a rotation transmission member other than the drive shaft provided in the marine propulsion device and configured to rotate by the rotation of the output shaft.
