BASKETBALL REBOUNDING APPARATUS
20240157215 · 2024-05-16 ·

The basketball rebounding apparatus includes a first frame having a first arm and a second arm. The first and second arms lead to a second frame. The second frame may be hingedly coupled to the first and second arms, thereby the second frame may descend away from the first and second arms. The basketball rebounding apparatus may have a spring that controls the second frame. When a basketball passes through a basketball hoop and the basketball rebounding apparatus, it will travel towards the second frame via the first and second arms. Once the basketball contacts the second frame, it will be in a stationary position until removed by a user.

Basketball training device and method

A basketball training device that is usable trains basketball players to sweep the ball low when dribbling against and opposing player or protect the ball if they are being defended by an opposing player with high hands is disclosed. The training device includes a base with a friction surface to engage the gym floor. Upright fibers are able to bend upon contact with a ball and regain their original position.

Augmented audio conditioning system

Techniques for implementing an augmented audio conditioning (AAC) system are described herein. In some examples, the AAC system can store conditioning data comprising crowd noise experiences associated with context-relevant environments and/or actions associated with an activity. The AAC system can detect an action of a user who is training in a conditioning environment and determine that the action is associated with the activity. In some examples, the AAC system can also determine an association between the action of the user and audio data representing a crowd noise experience of a context-relevant environment during an event. Furthermore, the AAC system can, in response to detecting the action of the user, output the audio-conditioning data into the conditioning environment to simulate the crowd noise experience of the context-relevant environment during the event.

BASKETBALL SHOOTING TRAINING DEVICE

A basketball shooting training device includes a main frame, a first vertical rail structure having vertical and oblique rails, a first sliding base, and a first basketball imitation member. The first vertical rail structure is disposed on the main frame. The first sliding base is slidably disposed on the first vertical rail structure for sliding along the first vertical rail structure. The first basketball imitation member is connected to the first sliding base. When the first basketball imitation member is propped and then propelled upwardly by a user's hand, the first sliding base slides from a first initial position on the vertical rail to a shooting position on the oblique rail for guiding the user's hand to complete a set shot along the first vertical rail structure.

Weighted throwing sleeve

A training device comprising a plurality of arms, each arm having two or more markings, the two or more markings being disposed at a position that is related to one of (a) a type of maneuver to be practiced, (b) anthropometric data of typical players, (c) anthropometric data of a specific player performing an exercise, and (d) a diameter of a basketball, and at least one junction, each junction being disposed between each pair of the plurality of arms, and a base coupled to each of the at least one junction.

Stereoscopic image capture with performance outcome prediction in sporting environments

Methods and apparatus relating to predicting outcome in a sporting environment are described. The methods and apparatus are used to relate trajectory performance of an object to body motions and body orientation associated with a generating the trajectory of the object. When equipment is utilized to generate the trajectory of an object, than the effects of equipment motions and equipment orientation can be also related to trajectory performance. The method and apparatus can be used to predict body motions and body orientations that increase the likelihood of achieving a desired outcome including specifying optimum motions and orientations for a particular individual. The method and apparatus may be used in training, coaching and broadcasting environments.

An apparatus and system for obtaining metrics associated with a user's athleticism are disclosed. The user performs a workout using the apparatus, and the workout is scored based on a scoring system. The scoring system may be objective, thereby facilitating score standardization, and individual users for which scores have been recorded may be ranked by the system. Individual users may associate their system profiles with one or more positions for one or more sports. The rankings may be filtered by position and sport to facilitate identification of one or more users of interest, such as for a college recruiting purposes or professional sports team drafts.
